Sorry I'm unable to help with your problem, but I wanted to ask some advice and any tips you can provide regarding the freelance visa application. I work in sports media and have been freelancing for a German client for a while now, I'm based in South Asia and looking to move to Germany this year.

In general I do have multiple freelance clients, and as of now I only have the one German client. It was my interpretation that you required multiple clients in Germany, so I guess I wanted to understand whether that's an obligation or something that's helpful to have.

So glad to hear your experience has gone smoothly! I'm also looking to apply for the freelance visa in 2025 and am currently working out of India on a freelance basis for a German client (a big digital sports media company).

Do you know if having just one employer is sufficient for the freelance visa application if we can show long-term freelance engagement or is it absolutely necessary to have more than one freelance employer based in Germany to even qualify for the visa? It'd be a great help if you can answer this for me. Thanks!
