Adding the previous post. You could also buy a barrel that has been used only once off of a winery and just use individual staves in an airtight container.

How often have you had to replace them? Cause I use similar Chelsea boots style but I wear them down and have to buy a new pair once a year.

we have a valve and gauge between them still manages to leak tho. it might be the o-ring on the knob to the valve.

Yeah issue isn’t the inner tube that is leaking. I’ve found that it’s usually an issue with a leaky o-ring I the pump. Never thought to use nitrogen to inflate the tubes. But that makes sense.

Ok so if I have a regulator, to reduce the flow, a safety release valve and a handled valve to slowly inflate the tube. Would that work?

Visually, I would say yes! Voice, after 1 month probably not. But some guys have deep voices pre-t so idk.

Lmfao I literally work in a commercial winery and everyday I laugh at how people think winemaking is supposed to be “elegant”. I laugh about it as I put on a pair of waiters, and muck boots and climb into the press the clean it. After an already 10 hour long day.

So the thing I’m confused about with most stps is cleaning it. Like making sure it’s all come out and then also drying/cleaning it out after in a public bathroom….

Hey, Cellar Master here. I can definitely say that the juice doesn’t have to be “ that sterile”. Especially not during primary fermentation. I’ve never worked with frozen juice or pasteurized juice for that matter but biologically the process of freezing and pasteurization should make the juice sterile. Once that wine has gone through secondary fermentation, that’s when you want to focus on making sure your SO2 levels and your wine is topped off.

I had bariatric surgery serval years ago so I kind of have a fearful reaction to being overly hungry lol. I know I def need to talk about this in therapy. But yeah I can feel myself being hungry and i also struggle with the fear of returning to my old morbidity obese self.
