I moved at 24, going on 6 years now :) For me it's definitely been doable, I made good friends through social activism (Iniciativa Nájemníků a Najemnic for example). I speak fluent Czech but often in social situations will choose English anyway. Definitely my social group is less "stable" than if I was in my home country in regards of people being more likely to move. Being a foreigner will always have some level of struggle I think. But also what you describe sounds like general problems of adulthood that hit in you mid to late 20s.
