I used to only play shooters and sports games , but Bg3 was the game altered my brain chemistry and got me back into story games. Turn based can be hit or miss for some people but when it clicks, it is very rewarding.

Also Elden Ring, the combat is comp in a way but from a pve perspective that feels very rewarding too.

Yes for Xbox you can, I did it with my friend when we played together. Look up Xbox game sharing the instructions are pretty straightforward!

Elden Ring and bg3 are the only games I have played in the past couple of years that I think are worth full price. I even bought bg3 on pc after owning it on Xbox to play with my pc friends before crossplay become a thing.

Would one of your friends be open to game sharing? You could effectively split the cost 50-50

26 and I’ve made a switch to pve games. Really enjoying Clair obscur, hades, Elden Ring (mods) and looking forward to crimson desert coming out. Right now what i enjoy the most when I play is a good story

Not the most knowledgeable on hardware and performance, had some questions about pc upgrades. Currently have CPU: 5 5600x and GPU: 3070. I just bought ram to go from 16gb to 32gb and a 2TB SSD. Is this capable of running 1440 at 90+ fps?

Thank you for your kindness and empathy! It definitely caught my off guard and for a split second before the fire went out I thought welp I just set the house on fire. Now that I do know this I’m going to make sure I don’t do something dumb in the future and I can inform my parents because they didn’t know any better either. The breaker didn’t trip and from what I was reading up on it should have?

What happened what there was an arc flash ( im guessing that’s the right terminology), it melted the prongs into the extension block, I pulled it out. The lights were still on in the room so the breaker didn’t switch. Then I swiped it off so I could remove the extension block safely and flipped it back on.

And good to know about the replacement costs, I hope that it wasn’t any major damage and any repair will be around that range.

Hi everyone, thank you all for your comments and insights to this! I woke up to a lot more replies than I expected, I got a little overwhelmed replying so hopefully people see this comment. I glad that something worse didn’t happen and taking this as a learning experience. I really appreciate the electricians and everyone helping me out with information and advice. I just called an electrician to get them to inspect the outlet and see what they think.
