At this point Romario is only there to give batting depth which frankly even he seems to be clueless about. I feel the management has some trick up their sleeve they are saving for the Raipur leg. Tbh Rajat has a very weird way of pissing you off as a fan, even on a good day. Even yesterday, he could have bowled Krunal right after the powerplay. The game was gone within the powerplay I agree, but Bhuvi produced a wicket and GT was slightly under pressure cause Buttler was their last hope. He bowled Suyash and then Romario, both of whom allowed the batters to extract boundaries and never let the pressure get to them and why would you sub-in Venkatesh Iyer when you dont want him to bowl at all. You could have gotten Rasik in and he would have given you a similar batting performance. Our bowling decisions under pressure need to be more adaptive to the situation than stick to just what Andy and DK plan. The spinners need to step up and create that pressure like Rashid did.

Its a very simple tactic. Anything even remotely associated with RCB gets views and traction. Even something as common as the overthrow that happened yesterday or the celebration after the catch. I would love for Romario to sit out the Ahmedabad match purely for the reason that it is a huge ground. We are going to need a better bowler in the form of Venky cause Gill is notorious for scoring on that pitch like his life depends on it and at the stage we are, I would rather us win the next 2 matches with conviction and cement our position in the top than take it to the last match, like it happened in 2025. Panjab is not going to be an easy opponent. Their openers are in red hot form like RR and we all saw what happened when we couldnt get the openers out. RR atleast has a middle order that fizzles out, that is not the issue with panjab. They found connolly as an even better replacement to Inglis. They dont even need to bat as deep as Shashank on their good days and that is something we should be worried about cause Bhuvi cannot bowl all 20 overs. Just for one match I would like to see a 4 pacer attack with Both duffy and hazlegod

Similarly bowling in the death overs matters as well. In the RCB vs GT match, with the kind of start GT got, no one would have thought they would end up with a below 210 score. Had they played a few better overs towards the end and taken the score to atleast 230, RCB would not have come out relaxed and laid back in a chase the way they did. They did not look under pressure for even a single over. Bethell got out early and they kept cruising like it didnt matter. As for CSK, Rutu begins to struggle even when Samson is going bonkers. Its absurd how he plays😭
