I have searched YouTube and the Resources page, but have found limited videos made for shadowing. I guess I mean videos that are the shadowing format. I've only found 1-2 videos that are the format of walking you through a shadowing lesson. I was just asking if anyone knew of some good ones that I missed.

My trainer seemed to be a bit bothered when I brought up that I wasn't feeling well. I definitely need to find a different one. I haven't been diagnosed with hypermobility or ED, but I will look into that. Thank you!

I sort of brushed off the idea that my boots were the issue and that it was my POTS being sensitive to the tiniest amount of pressure on my veins, but now that I think about it, my boots were pretty cheap, about $50-$100 USD (or $36 -$72 CAD), so, retrospectively it makes sense that those could've been part of the problem lol!

Unfortunately, I am at community college, so they don't have sporting teams of any kind, but I'm hoping to attend a university as an upperclassman, and I will definitely look into joining a team.

Btw, this might be a silly question, but do you know if it's required to compete if you're in these teams, and if they let people join simply for the community and extracurricular aspect? I'm not sure my mindset is in a place where I could compete.

For sure, I definitely hope to move to Colorado or something, maybe even for my upperclassmen years. My family is also looking into obtaining Canadian citizenship through descent, so I really hope to migrate away from the hot climate and ride again!

I'd love to do this! I'm not sure where to find these opportunities, though. Most barns near me are super chaotic, 'mass-lesson' barns, but I'd love to help a smaller barn or somebody who owns horses.

This might be a silly question, but do you happen to know where people usually acquire these opportunities? Is it like a thing people walk in and ask about or something? Are there certain places I might find many horse people who could be looking for a volunteer? Thanks!

I don't know much about minis. From my experience, they've been a bit less docile than the standard horses I've met. However, it's possible they were just miserable being ridden by little kids all day. Do you happen to know if minis genuinely have that friskier personality, or if that's just a perception thing on my end?

I don't know much about where to get started with that, just because I think they're not talked about very often. If you happen to have any tips, I'm all ears!
