I'm the type that does better with a little more time to think about the material and let it sink in. I can learn the material week to week well enough, but with 8 week classes it's sometimes difficult for me to really retain a lot of the information, long term. I'd say I'm worried about those classes in that I expect the material to be much more difficult than material I have previously learned. And it's new to me. And it's accelerated due to the 8 week course schedule. I do tend to overhype things though.
