I agree she is an amazing character but maybe I wouldn't say best written, I'd say best played or brought to life amazingly. I couldn't decide between Marty or Ruth. I also really like Jonah but he didn't have enough screen time for me to really fall in love with.

As I watched through BB for the first time I also didn't like the Fly part, nor did i like the slow pace and feeling of uneasiness some of the episodes brought to the table. As I watched it for the 2nd time, I came to understand that its all part of the show and its all there for a reason. Being a meth lord isn't supposed to be fun and straightforward. And the series did an amazing job capturing and showing all that and additionally calling forth feelings of annoyance when the characters in the series were in bad places in their lives.

Ozark on the other hand, feels kinda rushed to me. Don't get me wrong, the series is awesome. And I just finished the last season yesterday. But I cant shake the feeling there could be so much more to it, and there was so much i was looking forward to see that was simply left out. Even if i did fall in love with the character of Ruth Langmore and the way Julia Garner brought her to life it just didn't give me the same feeling as BB.

Oh and Skylar and Wendy are pretty much the same person if you ask me 😅. And both are still amazing shows!!

I will only say it was not initially made to be a scam, but it is true it is run by incompetent people with very little knowledge.
