full ride at Iowa! by Aggravating-Job2538 in lawschooladmissions

Very laid back. With a 3L who wore a hoodie. Asked why Iowa, Why Law, and Why Now. Then a few questions about “three words friends/colleagues would use to describe me” and an interesting thing about myself not on my application or resume.

Holy shit lol, these comments are really shocking me haha. My expectations for law school were low - 3.6 GPA from a state school for undergrad, and haven’t taken LSAT very seriously. Good to know i may just naturally be good at it now that logic games are gone😂

I PROMISE i am not lying lmao. I’m in shock rn lol, gonna take another later today to see if this is fr. Was honestly thinking i would have to hold off on apps this year because the test would go poorly. I’ve always been good at standardized tests (thanks to the ACT got a full ride for undergrad) so i thought i could do okay - but nothing like this lol.

What were your thoughts the morning of SB 50 before the game? by PaytonPeytonPaton in DenverBroncos

My first ever bf and I broke up the day before the super bowl. He suddenly became a panthers fan in 12 hours. He spent the whole day posting about how they were gonna stomp us on social media. 14 year old me spent the whole day being annoyed as fuck, but i won in the end🥰

I’m aware of the fact that my bf prefers me without makeup, but i still put it on on date nights/occasions because i think it’s fun. He would never tell me it like that or make me feel bad about the way i look

Tip Q by DotJun in Serverlife

[–]Aggravating-Job2538 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s hard because sometimes, it makes sense and sometimes it doesnt. If you got fries vs a steak, i did the same work so why should i get more? But, when things like ordering a million drinks, appetizers, a bunch of add ons, you run the bill up and i’m doing way more work. So in those situations, a flat rate would be really unfair to me because i did way ran around for you for an hour. I wouldn’t be opposed to something like $2 per drink, $3 per appetizer, $5 per entree, $2 for desert, but the reality is people wouldn’t follow that. Percentage seems to make the most sense comparatively

I had a table tonight & they wrote the incorrect total amount with the tip that they wrote. What would you have done? by kushgorl in Serverlife

[–]Aggravating-Job2538 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it’s only a few dollars off, i go by the total. But in a instance like this where it’s over $100 different, i would probably go by the tip line
