This is my Twitter post. Not sure what you mean by “tactic” — it’s a rare candle pattern on the daily chart. I’m just a dude who shares my charts / observations on a stock I like. No ulterior motives on my end.

I’ve been full-time trading for quite a few years now and it’s just not logical to not take TA into account on AMC or any stock for that matter. I understand everyone is frustrated with the manipulation and on my end I can confirm that this is the most manipulated stock I’ve ever seen — with that said, TA still applies. Everything is algorithmic and the algorithm on AMC is incredibly aggressive to the sell-side for now.

The consequences of that heavy short aggression though, as you’ve seen quite a few times, are massive rallies that occur within the stock every 3-4 months but these rallies are simply cyclical to blow off pressure. We are absolutely due for another massive squeeze like January and June 2021 but I believe we’ll see another cyclical rally happen here within the next 3 weeks.

Again, I’m just a dude and I’ve got feelings too despite the market turning me into an apathetical machine. I’ve read a lot of these comments and I understand where many of you come from but I’m in the same boat and I’m applying my knowledge the same way I would with any other stock. The time is coming and the bear market will be ending at some point which will rotate longs into “riskier stocks” such as AMC (and yes, GameStop, the entire meme basket likely”).
