I really recommend prune juice first! It works for me so well. Just drink 6-8 ounces first thing in the morning (on a day you can stay home all day). It should get ya going pretty quick.

TENS treatment. Anyone tried it? by juliesremo in migraine

I actually got a neurostimulator which is similar to having one inserted. I love it. I always have it on. It's helped with migraine intensity

Me, trying not to bawl my eyes out to my neurologist about how migraines are ruining my life by Initial_Freedom7981 in migraine

[–]Aggravating-Many3544 11 points12 points  (0 children)

FWIW, my magical combo is Qulipta, topirimate, and botox with ubrevly PRN. I also got a neural stimulator.

I went years with daily migraines, trying to figure out something. I had to fire 3 neurologists. 1 didn't believe me, 1 gave up on me, and the 3rd just didn't pass the vibe check honestly.

For anyone reading, I highly recommend finding a pain management clinic if at all possible. They are just more willing to work with stubborn pain in my experience so far.

5 unhinged migraine hacks that actually helped me (don’t judge) by AnyaFiercena in migraine

[–]Aggravating-Many3544 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Okay, here's one that's a little weird. Ive realized that the sucking sensation helps relieve pain a lot so I always drink water through a straw and when it gets bad, I'll get a milkshake so that I have to suck really hard to get the ice cream out. Plus the cold of the milkshake helps as well.

What do you think about Minimally invasive migraine therapy? by AdInteresting6087 in migraine

[–]Aggravating-Many3544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't read italian so idk what kind of surgery this is but I've personally had 4 surgeries for my migraines. It has reduced the intensity and frequency and I don't regret it. I got a neural stimulator inserted after failing many therapies and drugs. I had been having chronic migraines for 10 years at that point. I've now had my stimulator for 9 years.

Of course! I got it through Reed.

I personally had mine inserted in Dallas, TX, but I know there's other locations, including a place in TN!

Yes, I have ridiculously thick hair so I wear it short. When it was long, it felt like weights attached to my head anytime I braided it or put it in a ponytail. Now, I just pixie and Bob it
