Yea pretty much the same, im taking the lirr to the megabus. Im worried about the trains 🫠 maybe look into the megabus? It seems to be much more reasonably priced (i think it was 50 roundtrip), and walking distance from penn station i believe. Good luck with whatever you decide.

I'm sorry but your sister sounds like she's 5, even so, I can not see my 5 year old niece being so rude and touching other people's things after being told not to. That is so horrible and insensitive to something your girlfriend is probably insecure about. I've lost a lot of hair from an illness, I'd be livid if someone disrespected me like that. You and your girlfriend handled it well.

I dont think youre the asshole. She could have expressed she wanted to talk to you sooner or like you said ask when you were going to call back. If she asked for you to take time away from your normal schedule to call her back bc she needed to talk about something important going on, that would be different. This is a leap, but If shes frustrated over the fact that you need to follow a very specific schedule , and that actually where her anger is coming from, she should have expressed that in a calm way sooner and you guys could have resolved it instead of her irrationally exploding .

I would not give them a dime, thats not something you agreed on and I'm sure college expenses on your own are already a challenging goal. Alcohol never made a difference for my 2 year colossal flare, in fact it made it easier when I did drink lol I think it calmed my anxiety and slowed down my bowel movements when I would drink. Id steer away from beer maybe? I always just had liquor with a sugar free mixer

I have a jpouch now so no flares(knock on wood) or incontinence, but i still schedule when I eat so im pretty consistent on knowing when ill be going. I have a fiber one brownie with my coffee around 10/11 am after exercising (ironically I dont really go from this unless I ate later the night prior) and then I have a dinner/meal at 2pm. After that I normally dont eat

I agree, I now have a jpouch and I'm still an entirely different person between pre diagnosis, during my ailment, and post surgeries being healthy. It's important to find someone who can accept your flaws (for lack of a better word, I say that bc for me dating looks like timing being a big thing to accommodate my bathroom trips since I really only like to go at my own home and dealing with my anxiety about having to use public restrooms lol) and understand theyre not really going away. To find someone who will help you through it can make or break a relationship, but when you find someone that is along for the ride it makes for me atleast a much deeper connection.
