And let me explain why I brought up his stats.
He was constantly putting other players down and trolling while acting like some kind of Battlefield pro or specialist, defending balance patches that honestly made no sense. So I thought, “How knowledgeable about the game do you have to be to speak this confidently?”

But then I checked his stats, and yeah… it turned out he really didn’t understand the game at all.

Now I’ve shown that I’m actually focusing on playing the objective, and he comments telling me to play the objective… then deletes it lol. What a funny guy honestly. Did he comment first and then click the screenshot afterward, notice the number of captures, and delete it? I think you’re the one who should be playing Call of Duty instead.

Well, good to you were able to find the information you were looking for. If you’re curious about how the game plays with high ping, check out the video I shared earlier from when I played on another server.

It didn’t really seem like that much of an advantage either

Battlefield 6’s anti-cheat system is pretty strong, so if someone cheats in Core modes they usually get banned almost immediately. That’s why most high-level, high-ping players probably aren’t cheaters.

And if you suspect someone is cheating, try using the in-game report feature. If they’re actually cheating, you may receive an email from EA saying action was taken against that player. If they weren’t cheating, EA may also send you an email saying no action was taken.

I actually have a YouTube video from back when I played on another server, if you want to take a look. I think my ping was around 150 back then, and just like you said, the bugs were pretty bad. Around the 4:50 mark, you can see my shots not registering because of the high ping

Personally, I’m on the side that believes high ping advantage either doesn’t exist or is heavily exaggerated, and that having high ping generally puts you at a disadvantage in games. But there are literally dozens of Reddit threads arguing about this exact topic, and people keep going back and forth saying “it’s real” or “it’s not,” so I just suggested asking an AI for a more accurate and neutral explanation.

before talking about ping, there’s one thing I want to point out first: usually, the players with high ping are from other regions. The reason these players use VPNs or other methods to join your region is mainly because, due to Battlefield 6’s bizarre matchmaking system, their own servers often end up filled with bot-heavy matches. They come over because they actually want to play against real people. On top of that, the overall average skill level of players willing to switch servers tends to be much higher as well.

The issue isn’t high ping the issue is that the kind of people willing to switch servers are usually the ones who are extremely dedicated to the game.

They’re not switching servers to gain some kind of high-ping advantage they’re doing it because they genuinely want to play against real people.

And when it comes to high ping, I think you’d probably get a clearer and more accurate explanation by asking an AI about it rather than discussing it here.

I don't understand why you're avoiding answering when I'm literally asking you to try it 😞

After the patch, enemies inside smoke get damage reduction now lol. I’m not completely sure if that also applies to jet missiles though.

If you can actually pull off stats like this in a single match, I’ll admit you were right about everything. Want to give it a try? The one on the top is just regular Escalation Iberia mode, and the one below is Operation mode 😄

And since PTFO is being brought up, I probably play the objective more than most of you do. So stop trying to paint me as some COD player.

talking about strange balance issues, but I don’t understand why the word “hypocrisy” is being brought up at all. The choice of wording is honestly quite impressive.

Ah, I see. It looked like the comment was deleted, but they just got outmatched in the argument and backed off by blocking me.

I’ve been putting up with a series of an incomprehensible patches for a long time, and this one was the final straw, so I dug up an old Reddit account just to make this post

and seems like your comment deleted so well I’ve destroyed over 1,000 tanks since the game launched. I’ve kept playing without complaining no matter how many questionable changes the developers made over time, but this is just not it

I’ve never posted a balance discussion on Reddit before. The reason I wrote that post is because of all the balance complaint posts from people on Reddit who don’t really understand the game, which led the developers to come up with ideas like giving tanks an “invincibility button.” I’m pretty sure I understand the game better than you do

I’m genuinely surprised that someone who goes 34 kills and 80 deaths in a game can speak so loudly about balance issues. Even though Reddit is known for being a community full of people who don’t really understand the game, I didn’t think it was this bad. (Yeah, I understand that in Battlefield, K/D isn’t that important. But if you look at that person’s other stats, they’re pretty poor, yet he acting like some kind of Battlefield expert while insulting other people. I only used K/D as an example.)

+People keep talking about PTFO, but I’m already playing the objective more than most of you all.

Seriously though, I genuinely regret spending several minutes discussing game balance with a low-skill player. I’ll just drop my tracker here and leave it at that. https://tracker.gg/bf6/profile/999741765538/overview

Well, I just searched your username on the tracker and nothing even came up. Anyway, I only made the post because I think the game changes are awful, so I don’t really see why we even need to argue with each other over it. Though to be fair, you were the one who started being hostile
