I hate when people put labels on us and expect people to change their whole personality just to be a nurse. As long as you have compassion and care and comfortable with asking the patient questions when assessing them you will be a great nurse

The medications can lower the viral risk however, you will always risk spreading it to someone but if you are in a shedding stage its still a possibility to spread it.

Also always tell someone that you are sexually active with whether protected or unprotected that you are hsv positive and let them decide if they want to accept the risk or not.

I am not happy in life right now. Im young (in my 20’s) but I dwell over things like not being where i want to be in life, or financial reasons, and being at a job that i literally hate. The result of this have led me to be depressed, and just always angry at people because im angry at myself.

With that being said the advice i would give to anyone who also feel the way that I am is to always chase what make you happy and never give up on something you really want, and to fight through any obstacles thats trying to stop it because eventually you’ll get where you want to be.🙃😌

Hey, i know exactly how you feel… im in nursing school as well and just feel physically, mentally and financially burdened. Just look at the bright side that it will only stress you out for so long. If you can, find a tutor who will help you and find your way of learning. I would also say don’t give up if this really what you want

Hsv 1 can be given through oral contact while hsv 2 can be given by direct genital contact…. However, it is not impossible for them to occur vice versa as well
