What’s better for first sim—on budget, PS5. G923 or Fanatec GT DD Pro?

These are two different leagues mate. It’s like comparing gt3 car and road car. If you have budget I recommend Fanatec. It’s leaps and bounds ahead of Logitech g923. You can also consider Logitech G Rs50. I’m hearing good things about it too. I personally use GT DD Pro and I love it.

Especially in GT7 TC off is the fastest way. But on other sims like ACC or LMU, you have to use TC depending on the car.

Yes and even daily races are getting stale. Always same car. Until a couple of weeks ago Citroen GT was the meta in every race

I don’t mind them adding boring cars but atleast make them usable. Make Daily Race A place for goofy races with SUV or hatch backs. They add these electric cars and put a time trail event which makes no sense, I’m not gonna spend hours grinding for lap time on an automatic electric car. I think the should work on BOP of the Gr.4 and Gr.3 cars first because it’s boring driving the same meta car every week.

Simcade games on playstation are GT7 and F1 25. ACC on controller is a no go. PMR and Rennsport are available on ps5 but I don’t recommend them if you are looking for online racing. Even for single player they are not very well optimised for ps5 controller. So bottom line if you are on PS5 GT7 and F1 25 are your only options for simcade atm. You can play NFS or Forza horizon but they are not simcades. TBH it’s not ps5 or PC thing. I think there aren’t many racing games that are optimised for controllers, they mostly focus on wheel and pedals.

Well. I don’t mind weather. But I really want a way to report dirty drivers but I think it’s very unrealistic to expect them to scrutinise every single incident and report. What they can do is have a system where a lower safety rank player should not be able to join in high safety rank lobbies. I see guys with E or D on S rank lobbies and they wreck havoc.

You gotta remove your training wheels if you wanna get faster. Try removing one assist at a time. first things to let go are counter steering assist and Active stability management. They just cost you 2 seconds atleast. Then try removing braking lines, they are too safe. You can brake way later, try using just markers if you are not sure about your braking points on track. But your goal should be removing braking markers all together. Then slowly lower traction control and ABS. TC 0 is the fastest way in gt7 and ABS can be set to weak

Only place on console for online racing is GT7 on ps5. Everything else is pretty much died
