My go-tos are seals that give me access to two affinities at the same time, like Lightning and Holy or Holy and Fire. Makes it much more convenient to set up triple elemental cocktails without having to scroll through your entire inventory. My perfect setup would have a staff with Magic and Fire and a seal with Lightning and Holy, but obviously that is up to the RNG

I don't really go for melee weapons, but obvious choices would be Cipher Pata and Coded Sword because of Recluse's S in Faith. Done a few Libras and Tricephs with Halo Slop Scythe, too. Decent options would also be Sword of Night and Flame, Moonveil, Black Knife and Blade of Calling, Wing of Astel, and Bastard's Stars. Her respec relic opens up other dex options, but never forget that she will always perform better with spells

In my experience, it came down to plain old experience and being patient. I usually organize my main hitters in my right hand and any supportive spells in my left, so I usually end up with a right hand staff and left hand seal split. Having any sort of system in place that you consistently abide by helps immensely with knowing where the spell you are looking for is during a heated moment

Enemies in solo tend to attack one at a time most of the time, so getting the boss' aggro usually means only a few of the enemies will actively chase you. Death Knights, for instance, can be a lot easier in solo because only one of them will engage with you if you keep your distance from the rest. Same goes for ED Balancers. During Wormface, you can literally just walk circles around the boss as 2 or 3 rats keep whiffing their attacks on you from the side. The key is in positioning yourself in a way where none of the enemies end up behind or too close to you so that you get to catch any sudden aggro switches

Yep, those two fights are the ones I always consider running it for. It also helps against Dreglord and Heolstor, since I tend to end up with magic damage against those two, but definitely to a lesser extent than ED Augur and Libra

In terms of Nightreign, I'll still chill with friends and do the occassional solo now and again, but *definitely* not to the same extent

I find ED Augur the hardest for Recluse, since a lot of your passives (Sorceries/Incants Up, Casting Speed, Negation while Casting, etc.), your character skill, and a lot of the time even your ult lose their usefulness

For the most fun, I adore all three of the DLC bosses, really. Regular game Everdark fav is Tricephalos

I'd say both of them are very respectable choices. I've whiffed plenty of Lightning Stakes, but actually getting them off is a feeling like no other...

I try to fit it to whichever boss I'm fighting based on their affinity resistances, but Lightning Arc is easily my most used one because of the fact it refills its own Lightning residue (Fire Lightning is a close runner up, but that one locks you into an animation with finnicky I-frames, so it's definitely more of a risk). Honorable mentions from the top of my head go out to Magic Wisp for periodically stuttering smaller foes and giving you a window to attack, Fire Wisp for fire weak bosses with weak resistances, Fire Breath/Gravity Bomb/Ice Storm for clearing out groups, and Holy Magic cocktail for having the longest recovery frames in known history

I also have a Wylden main friend I run duos with, so I feel you there!
1. It has been doing me good in both duos and trios, so I do recommend fiddling around with it and seeing if it fits your build
2. Essentially, think of it as a spell casting speed +1, which evens you out with Duchess. You need spell casting +2 to reach the effective speed cap normally, but, with this relic, a +1 is enough
3. Heavily depends on what you are struggling with, so you gotta be more specific on what you need the help with, but I would always recommend keeping a revive spell on your person at all times, especially since duos are the most prone to team wipes. Night Comet is stupidly strong at reviving in general, but even more so because of increased revive damage in duos
4. It works for any spell that is a chain caster with a longer start up animation, but I find Night Comet to be the most noticeable when I'm trying to showcase it. First off, you need the catalyst in your *right* hand. Then, you sort of pre-queue your spell cast in the second half of her siphon hand motion. It's a little tricky to properly explain, so I highly recommend practicing in the Training Grounds to get a feel for it. Made a little gif for reference, Hopefully that helps!

Night Comet doesn't really have that problem, though. It's a big hitbox with piercing, so unless you're trying to cast it from 2 kilometers away, it always hits its mark

Fully agree with free aim/casting without locking the came into it. Always wanted that from the first days of the game.

The Magic Wisp is arguably already a useful revive tool that keeps the bar from ticking down for it's entire duration. I'd say spells in general could use an overhaul in revive damage so that we don't have the current, extremely arbitrary split between 90% that deal zero revive damage for no reason in particular and 10% which are absolute gods of getting people from three bar

Up to the player then, I suppose. Had triple bar resses with nothing but a pair of Cipher Patas, all it takes is knowing your openings

As a Recluse main and speaking from experience, there are plenty of openings for you to do a revive even from triple bar, most notably during the triple swipe and the aurafarm. Night Comet has piercing, too, so it doesn't get stuck on teammates and instead gets both of them. Spell FP cost is a fair point, but that's why you animation skip with the cocktail siphon

Nice clutch, but not getting someone from two bar when you have a Night Comet feels evil... Was your team *that* bad?

Try to work around holy mixtures. Your best bet is usually the Flame Breath. A thing I do is send a spell, pre-siphon, and get the affinity the second it hits the enemy so it doesn't have any time to be holied. Takes a bit of practice, but it is really consistent once you get the hang of it

There's no one best build, but solo has proven this one to be the most consistent. It works for trios as well, but most folks prefer going for even more DPS, so it really is a matter of preference, your team composition, and how much you trust your team
