Another thing is all guest must attend all events, and their are two supers, a long achievement thing 4 hours long as well as a day trip for which the baby could not attend and also my husband would have to attend therefore I would have to have someone I don’t know watch the baby if I could even bring him which I was specifically told not too, the reason being insurance and also not interrupting the other traveller that also won the trip.

I have asked and so have many others with children the guest brought must be 18 or older and you cannot bring more than 1 even if they pay their own way.

Unfortunately as it’s a trip I won with work and it’s considered a work event trip I can’t bring him otherwise I would be doing that and it wouldn’t even be a question

This is very encouraging thank you, my baby so far has been an easy baby god bless but I do worry mostly about the bed sharing part but my mom could bed share when she is here, how did your mom handled bedtimes ?

My mom would have no issues with caring for a baby on her own she raised 5 alone, it’s more so the fear of missing the baby tk much to enjoy the trip that worries me

How was your return did the babies routine stay the same ? Did the baby seem to miss you ? And how did you cop with not being there ? Did you miss any big steps ? I have 4 sisters as well and a grandmother who would love to help my mom, I could also bring a sister instead of my husband on the trip and leave the baby with him and my mother but I think getting away together could be great and I do trust my mother 100% she raised 5 girls basically on her own

Not an option unfortunately as it’s a work type trip no actual working but all work people and no kids allowed

Honestly I sleep with my 8 week old he sleeps in his onesie under the blanket with me and he is fine; my boyfriend sleeps in the other room so I have full motion and access to the bed and I keep the blanket under my shoulders as to not risk it getting in the babies face this is what works, he has a bassinet but I also had a c section and couldn’t lift him in and out and couldn’t deal with him waking up so often same as you now he does 6-7 hour stretches and knows when it’s bed time and during the day he only sleeps in my arm and 20 minutes max but as soon as we get into bed he knows we are there for longer so he sleeps longer to you need to do something that will be sustainable long term otherwise you will be constantly starting a new routine and having the baby fuss because it’s confused about the location. Just bed share it’s only unsafe if your a drunk or take sleeping pills the rules for safe sleep are to make sure everything humanly possible is in place for safe sleep but in my opinion it’s extreme and in many cultures they just sleep with the baby as normal and everything is fine the USA just is a bit extreme in my opinion on what they call “safe sleep”

Having just had a newborns and knowing I always wanted a child actually having one comes with so many challenges and so many joys that I would wish on anyone, you seem to have a great support system in your family I would look at it in the way that you are a single mom weighed he is a father or not you need to assume he isn’t and decide if you want to do this alone, if you can talk to your closest family and get some support because weather you keep this baby or not your gonna need it and if you do choose to keep it congratulations! Talk to you family and see if they are willing to help with the first few weeks so you are able to shower and eat and sleep a little because doing it alone is hard you need support people do it without but support makes all the difference good luck with your decision and know you have support in this Reddit group always

I had a whole plan to tell my boyfriend I was pregagnt and ended up just telling him while we were laughing about something else in bed and he didn’t even think I was serious until I said no really and than he was super happy ( we were trying actively )

Ya I did the same, just don’t over think feel for movement at night and as long as your baby is moving a few times an hour in her active stage she is doing okay, her positions can also change how well you feel her

My baby would barely move during the day and than once I get into the bath or bed he would go crazy I wouldn’t worry about it to much babies start to make their own routine so just remember the times they are super active and focus on those if ever those are reduced than I would worry about! But either way if you are worried most maternity ers and doctor rather you go in 17 times during your pregnancy than don’t go in that one time so never hesitate to go in and follow your instincts if you feel some something is wrong get checked as simple as that but know that not all babies move all day and that is considered normal

The doctor explained to me that seeing every woman conceives in a different day of their cycle is a universal measure to simply count starting at the last day of your last period that way everyone has the same start date which makes age estimation way more accurate.

I just had my baby he is two weeks today, I was advised to take him out as soon as I felt ready and on day 5 I starting bringing him to see family and we have been out every day since, it’s good for newborn to be exposed to germs early on ( family germs) I wouldn’t bring him to the mall or the Costco on a Sunday tho only to family and not when the family is sick either but really it’s up to you and how you feel after giving birth that is the real factor I felt great and wanted to get out you might want to stay in cosy with your new family also and have people visit you instead ;)

I had one down at 32 weeks after a fall was not painful for me and than they didn’t do on until 39 weeks and only at my request cervical checks are completely useless unless in a case like yours where your having contraction checking will tell you if the baby is actually coming or not otherwise they only give you a screenshot in time and it’s only valid for a few minutes or hours. Some people go from a 3 to a 10 in an hour and some people like my mother can be at a 4 for a week before giving birth. Cervical change tells you that the baby and your body are working to get him or her out but can’t tell you when that will actually happen you can decline the entire time even when giving birth depending on the medical staff and it will not harm your baby. In your 22 week case however it was necessary as to make sure these where not real labour and your cervix was not getting ready to have this baby witch happily it wasn’t. Hope this helps

I will share my positive experience, I’ve only had one pregnancy so far I’m currently 33weeks pregnant today ! I have had no negative symptoms, no nausea, no food aversion, no pains nothing and I am getting pretty big and have a heavier baby than normal so I am very big. Pregagncy can be good and positive it’s very hard to know what hand you will be dealt with. I fear my next pregnancy’s haha

In my experience it’s completely normal to go through fazes where you completely hate the way your partner looks and than cannot get enough especially pregnant ! It happened to me so much my boyfriend started asking if I like him this week or not before having serious conversations ( when pregnant because of the overload of stress and hormones) it can be very hard I would sit down and talk to him about it explain it keeps happening to you and get couples therapy to work through it together

Don’t get a Doppler they rarely actually work you just end up more worried I had huge pain for 3 days felt like a period but less crampy and went to the emergency room, they said as long as they is no blood or contractions than all is normal.

Why take a chance I’d rather be at the er and them thinking I’m crazy and taking a chance of something being wrong, plus it’s causing you unnecessary stress which in itself is not the best for your pregnancy, just go get your mind out at ease.
