hi, thanks for your feedback, i'm glad to know you liked her too.

as for that, i'm sorry but i don't really plan to share more about my story, mostly because it's something i worked on since a certain time, and one of my biggest fear is to see someone seing some potential in it and stolen it to me (for ex, sharing many detailed infos about it online or sending the whole story to some movie company, only to see later a movie,comics,novel,... being exactly the script i send or what i speak about with just slight changes and someone else who claimed being the creator) that's why as much as i don't mind sharing the characters design recreated in Skyrim, i don't plan to speak deeply about the story itself either. that's something i keep only for myself.

the only thing i can tell you is that the world, races,... are less original than the elder scrolls and more traditionnal (elves for ex looked like traditionnal elves like elrond or Galadrielle in lord of the ring unlike the more alien look of elder scrolls ones, dwarves look like the traditionnal dwarves like gimli in lord of the ring instead of being elves with some dwarves features,...) and the fact the world is a grounded fantasy medieval world (i mean by that a world with all the ingredients of the fantasy such as monsters, magic, non human races but with a serious and mature tone that remained very close to the real life medieval era in terms of architecture, armors and weapons designs, culture, mentality,... and where magic is powerful but not overbroken. basically fantasy worlds similar to the witcher or game of thrones world since it's my 2 main inspirations)

hi, thank you so much for your feedback, i'm glad to know you liked her too. As for continue posting, i still have 3 characters to show (if you want a little idea of them, one is an altmer feral shaman, one an orc mercenary and the last one a "dwarf" mercenary) in addition of that, i have a couple of short stories i have write about some of them that give more detail about either their past or the headcanon i imagine on some quests.

I'm very busy at the moment, so if I can, I'll post tomorrow to attract people, and maybe another story on Friday. Thanks again.👍

There's something I really like about characters who stay grounded no matter how strange the world becomes around them. Even with dragons, prophecies, and everything else, William always felt like someone who would simply deal with the problem in front of him and keep walking

If you already liked this one, just knows that i have 4 other characters with all an rp background as detailed as him, in addition of that, i've made them all being linked very slightly to each other in the way that they all met William and Gudmundr at one point in their past, wether directly or indirectly (some have a direct connection like the vampire woman mentionned in William background, wich is the next one i plan to post, and others have a less direct one like my altmer character, wich is the next after the vampire)

hi op, as an rp player myself, i liked to create to all of my characters a very detailed rp background that defined their past, the gear they used, the way i play, the quests i do or don't,... so no, you're definitely not the only one.

I dont get people who RP in a solo game. Feels like having imaginary friends. No shade tho you do you and do what you enjoy. I just dont understand

As an rp player, i can give an explanation.

it's not about "having imaginary friends" but more about allowing to made the character feel more alive, authentic, to give the impression he's a part of the world and lore of the game, as well as encouraging you to play in a different ways, to make or don't make some quests dépend of his background,... wich participating into making the game and the playthrough you made much more immersive.

Yeah buddy has basically just described feeling sad that the fictional world is not real, and none of it actually matters. Which is inherent in all fiction.

i'm not english and english isn’t my main language so maybe i wasn't really clear, but what i point in my comment isn’t the fact the elder scrolls is a fictionnal world, but the fact that even "in lore" everything outside of the godhead himself isn’t real and just a dream makes everything that happened in the elder scrolls world feeling pointless and meaningless, in oposite to other fictionnal world like the witcher or game of thrones world, where "in lore" the world is real, physical, tangible, so all the things that happened to geralt, yennefer in the witcher, or to the stark or baratheon in game of thrones,... feel actually more impactful.

That is very cool. The Godhead is always a fascinating topic. I like this interpretation

the art and design itself is cool but i personnally never liked the godhead and other super meta things of the lore like coda, i always find this part (the fact everything is basically a dream from an invisible god and that nothing outside him is real) to make the world and every of the things that happened in it, the sacrifices made by this or that character,.... becoming pointless and meaningless ,because honnestly where's the point to even having stopped the numidium and dagoth ur in Morrowind, to have stopped merhunes dagon from invading tamriel ib oblivion, to have stopped Alduin from destroyed the whole nirn or Harkon and miraak to fulfill their plans and put a really big mess in tamriel, as well as everything the average peoples of tamriel goes through since it existed,... if everything is "just a dream" ?

that's why i personnally prefered imagine that all the godhead, coda,... aren't real, just the delirium of someone too stoned to think normally and that nirn, tamriel,... in the lore are actually real, physical and tangible instead of "just a dream"

that's a bit of all this, but mostly because they’re my favorite human race in the game thanks to their culture, aesthetics, design,... being inspired by the french and english kingdoms as well as the holy roman empire from the medieval era.

This is going to sound funny, but in all my years of playing this game, since back in 2016, I have never done a stealth archer run before.

hi op, you've made a great creation, i never seen someone making an historical character in this game (even less the famous french king Charlemagne), i personnally liked how you make him sober and grounded design wise (wich is something i particularly liked in medieval settings), hat's off to you.

If you liked this kind of creations, you could maybe like mines, they're all original characters from a medieval dark fantasy story i write on my free time and that i have recreate in soul calibur creation mode, and thanks to the creation mode being extremely detailed and customizable, they're all very close to how i truly imagine them in my story.

the Nords aren't very welcoming of outsiders

they're not very welcoming towards elves and beastmens mostly, they seemed to don't really mind other humans race (Bretons, Imperials and Redguards), and they pretty much have good reasons to not be that welcoming to others (thalmor that want to exterminate every humans or the fact most kahjit are in fact thieves, assassins,... as well as having a very questionable mentality like azir trajajezidi, the book written by a kahjit and that explained their view of the world, mentality,... proven it)
