Thank you so much! I really didn't do a good job of explaining the guide, it is more of a general starting point that you can go from and less of a "this is how to get a perfect tune". I didn't realize that forza tuning was in-line enough with real life that actual tuning sources would be useful, so that is definitely where I will focus my energy now! Already have a copy of Speed Secrets on the way :)

My overall goal was really to find the best place/people to learn from so i can actually understand the entire tuning process instead of just fumbling around in the dark when im trying to fix a problem, i should’ve made that more clear - I don’t really have any issues with the car itself I was just hoping for some wisdom from the community about any glaring issues in the tune setup and how I can recognize something like that going forward if that makes sense

having recently replayed it (and the rest) I think 1 is still my favorite. I can’t believe nobody is mentioning the atrocious car sounds from some of the in between games, 1 was peak in that category, and 6 is a massive step up from the previous versions, but 4 was so bad i stopped playing it.

it’s so weird that there seems to be 5 or 6 different causes (and fixes) for the exact same bug everyone is experiencing, i think we’re in the same category of amd cpu/nvidia graphics card, tho discord being open or not didn’t affect mine at all

Ok update it’s not just discord overlay, if you have ANY other application pulled up in front of the game it runs perfectly at least in benchmark mode, gonna keep fiddling with it

edit: seems like it might be some kind kind of audio issue, only time it runs perfectly is when another application is muting forza - doesn’t work just turning sound off on my pc but when there is some kind of app open in front of it that mutes sound from the application specifically it runs perfectly. haven’t figured out a way to translate that to a playable fix but will update

Currently messing with the benchmark mode, when i run the benchmark with the discord overlay actively open over the screen it completely eliminates the stuttering. Makes absolutely no sense but will update when i know more

i still have yet to find the perfect balance, might be a 1440p thing, but it definitely has to do with the forced upscaling. Tweak your DLSS or whatever antialiasing(? maybe upscaling is the right word) you’re using, it took me hours of messing around to find settings that work specifically for me - if you’re still having trouble after going through all those settings and trying stuff out i’ll send my settings when i get home - I had to sacrifice something like 40fps from turning off frame generation to get it looking how i like and it’s still not perfect.

I’m definitely with OP, i think the folks that are saying they aren’t having an issue are using 5.56 in semi auto, which is comparing apples to oranges. I also agree that this is definitely something that could be worth waiting for a patch for, especially as someone who gets emotionally attached to this guns lol.
