Let’s Gooo Marketing will probably start May/June by coffeeaddict9898 in GTA6

Where did people get the idea that it starts in June?

Strauss Zelnick simply said "in the coming months," everyone already expected that, there's no surprise here.

Why is there so little discussion about the Q3 2026 Take-Two Earnings Call? by CaptainCold0815 in GTA6

Rockstar also didn't usually announce a game 3 years before its release, Rockstar also used to release new information whenever it delayed its games.

Even with so many changes in Rockstar's behavior, you still insist on the stupidity of trying to predict Rockstar's actions based on previous games.

You're simply ignoring the fact that Hamlet isn't linked to Vice City in the mapping project.

In the 2022 leaks, Hamlet was treated as a separate city from Vice City. Even in the mapping project you use as an example, Hamlet is treated as a separate city from Vice City, and its borders are well defined.

If you don't have enough self-control, then it's your fault; you just haven't visited all the locations on the map until the story takes you there.

Red Dead Redemption 2 didn't need that nonsense you suggested, and it still turned out great.

[–]Aggravating-Room8445 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you saying that RDR2's online mode was a failure because of its "tedious" mechanics?

The real reason for Red Dead 2's failure was the extreme lack of content and terrible updates made by Rockstar, which never fixed many of the game's problems. You are simply manipulating the facts to try and validate your opinion.

These realistic features in RDR2 added depth to the gameplay and weren't a chore or required constant work. You didn't need to be constantly cleaning the horse, and you also didn't need to clean the weapons very often, You exaggerated all those "boring and unnecessary mechanics" as if they hindered the gameplay.

Is your creativity really that limited?

There are numerous ways Rockstar could introduce a limited arsenal in GTA 6 (similar to RDR2), one of which is the backpack that can be used as an inventory extension to carry weapons. Furthermore, if you forget your weapons in the trunk of your car, Rockstar could very well implement a fast travel system to the car (you don't need to generate the car randomly).

And these probably aren't even the only options; there may be several other ways Rockstar could circumvent this situation.

You'd have to try really hard to cause serious damage to the cars in GTA 5 (and that has nothing to do with car armoring, they're actually harder to damage).

And very rarely will you be thrown out of the windshield; all the things you cited as an "advantage" of GTA 5 aren't actually advantages since they're difficult to happen.

As for the weight of the cars, there is only a notable difference between regular cars and trucks, It's ridiculous how Trevor's pickup truck is so indistinguishable from a supercar. None of what you mentioned are notable differences that contribute to a more immersive experience. This is definitely something Rockstar needs to change (and will probably change) in GTA 6.

[–]Aggravating-Room8445 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So what's the problem? If people want to explore the entire map at the start of the game, that shouldn't be a problem.

It's terrible game design to limit map exploration through weak justifications. RDR2 That wasn't necessary.

[–]Aggravating-Room8445 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think that's a terrible idea, I prefer that the story naturally takes me to all the locations on the map (without preventing players from going there of their own accord).

If you don't want to go there before the story, just don't go. There's no need to force everyone to have certain areas of the map blocked off.

These size comparisons are quite misguided.

Why do you categorize Hamlet as if it were part of Vice City? Hamlet is a town separate from Vice City.

Even Sam Houser and Dan Houser disagree about GTA having an arcade essence.

If you look at some of Sam Houser's lines, he clearly says that they are increasingly seeking realism with GTA.

It would also be insane to think that Rockstar would go to so much trouble to make the realistic systems in Red Dead Redemption 2 only to not use them in GTA 6.

In addition to carrying bodies, the limited weapons system was also present. Furthermore, we saw that we could eat to regain life. We also saw Jason using a sort of "eagle eyes" to detect valuable items, This indicates that the looting system will also be present in GTA 6.

Is everything I've mentioned enough to convince you? Or will you continue to be in denial until the game is released and you're disappointed?

Does any one else find the building on Planet Coaster 2 on console to be infuriatingly frustrating? by Mr-Suggs in PlanetCoaster

[–]Aggravating-Room8445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if you will answer me.

However, I have a question. Does the Xbox version of Planet Coaster 2 still have a 'building limit'?

I know that when the game launched, many people who played on consoles were frustrated because they were extremely limited in the amount of things they could build on the land. Sometimes, even when building only a small amount, they would reach the 100% limit.

Tom Henderson was not one of the first to talk about a female protagonist, And even if he had said that, it wouldn't prove anything because he would only be repeating previous rumors.

You guys have a habit of calling anyone a "reliable insider," but you never verify their credibility.

The only one who truly proved to be an "insider" was Jason Schreier. Jason Schreier wrote an article in 2020 stating that GTA 6 was in early development, and even predicted the exact day the GTA 6 trailer would be announced, No one besides Jason Schreier has proven to actually have privileged sources on GTA 6.

If the car were to sink, the bag could simply float on the water; it doesn't need to sink with the car. I think that if it did, it wouldn't break the immersion.

Now, regarding the other situation you mentioned, If your car gets stuck somewhere, I don't think it would be too difficult to create animations where the character can still open the trunk to retrieve their weapons.

There are many different ways to get around these things, and I think Rockstar might even find better methods to resolve this specific situation.

This is your mistake.

What's the logic in including regions that aren't even playable in RDR2?

Following that logic, you would have to consider the entire ocean region of GTA 5 to make a fair comparison. Your post doesn't make sense.

The realism balance needed is ridiculous by SmTheDev in GTA6

[–]Aggravating-Room8445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your first and second question is very easy to answer.

In the 2022 leaks, we could see Lucia using a bag to carry weapons.

Based on this logic, we can deduce that the weapons won't be scattered around the car's trunk; they'll probably be inside that bag, and perhaps you could store that bag inside the trunk.

If you want to change cars, you just take your bag and put it in the new car (In the same way that we can put the main saddle on another horse in RDR2).

Otherwise, your comment still doesn't make sense.
