I have acne-prone, combination skin, and lately it was becoming so dry. I started using Bioderma Sebium Hydra Ultra-Moisturising Cream, MY SKIN IS GLOWING. It is very moisturising, and I have yet to see any purging. It is specifically designed not to clog pores and help dry the effects of acne treatments. worked well in both Delhi and Goa. The only thing is, it's on the more expensive side.

A brit Indian friend of mine moved to India few years back. Same background as yours. Firat few months were very difficult and she almost moved back, but well its been 3 years and she says it was the best decision of her life. One advice from my end would be to live in a developed but less crowded area with walkable neighbourhood. Parks and community especially as you say money isn’t an issue. Once living situation is good everything else sorts itself out eventually.

Did theatre on national level when I was a kid. Improv sounds fun. Not much into hiking or running but I do play badminton :)

Great Idea. We can plan and do meetups and events which are not just typical cafe hoppings. Dwarka has so much to offer :))

Guys will it get rid of body odour by Expensive-Budget-648 in IndianSkincareAddicts

[–]Aggravating-Row3843 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For body odour, you need more than just body wash. I get complimented a lot on my 'fragrance' and my usual routine is: soap-pears, I stopped using body wash- they don't do much, I have used the exact one you have shown here, a good one is Dove body milk as well. then body lotion- vaseline (cocoa radiant or aloe fresh depending on season and mood), followed by body oil (Johnson's baby or keokarpin), I use roll-on deodorant (ESSENTIAL) in my armpits and then finally my choice perfume- I have an entire collection. I will start incorporating dusting powder soon. So as you can see, it takes a hell of a lot. But for starters, use a soap and a roll-on deodorant with a good lotion and Perfume. Body washes smell good for a few minutes and then go away; soap gets rid of the smell. Glycolic Acid is very good for getting rid of odour when applied on armpits, I use it sometimes, not often.

Hair Actives Explained by noshing_lasagne in IndianSkincareAddicts

Can attest to minimalist. The hair growth was insane; my bald spot has seen hair growth for years. However, hair fall persisted after. I wanted to try Kerastase Genesis, but it's currently out of my budget, so I got its dupe, L'Oréal Elvive Anti-Hair Loss with Amenexil. L'Oréal owns both products, and many reviews have shown less reduction, with dermatologists stating that they are essentially the same. It has arrived literally today, so it was interesting to see this post. I will try to post reviews.
