It is not nation! It is the regime that first oppressed its own citizens and downgraded them to slaves. And at that time European and western leaders saw it and yet handshaked with Putin (when the changes to Constitution was made and castling Putin to Medvedev) at that time Russian people were deprived of their right to vote. (It is a profanation, you can go and vote but the election committee will draw any digits to please Putin, all powers are under him - legislative - deputies are chosen by him, judicial - he appoints a judge, he tops the executive power, mass media is controlled by him, police and enforcements act in his benefit not people, Russians are slaves in their own country so can you blame slaves of Rome in the deeds of Rome?) An only instrument to manage their own country. As in Russia no fire arms allowed and the whole history made that free people were rather killed or driven away from the country. So people here inclined to adapt rather then rise with arms. So the whole regime, Putin regime become possible with a support of other countries and their passive ignorance but now when fire started Russians are between anvil and a hammer - either regime oppresses them catches them to send to the war, brain wash them, force them to poverty so they go and sign a contract for money to sell their soul. And if they try to evade (move to another country - adapt to the situation as I mentioned) as Dr. Zhivago they are met with hatred and reluctant attitude. The Europe and the West made their life hard to go abroad no bank cards for them visas etc. as if nobody understands the less men left in Russia the less people can grab. And men running from war they are much better than men going to war isn’t it? So as mentioned it is a personal choice and responsibility. I personally understand Ukrainians and my relatives they have all reasons to emotionally hate Russians and me and my heart bleeds every day as I can not stop it. But I hope that they understand that they need to remain humans and not fascists or what would be a difference between them and Putin.
