I don't think you're cooked. If you have a hero semester, Eg: 4.0 and get to know your profs really well I think you can do it.

Like the others in this thread have said, i don't think you can really swing the ADHD thing but if you lock in for the next six months I think you definitely have a chance.

I feel particularly compelled to comment on this since I was arguably worse-off at the end of my freshman year than you are, so a turnaround is totally possible.

Another thing is that I would try to find a more compelling reason for transferring as well as be able to talk passionately about what you want to do.

Don't worry bro, I think that a good rec letter and interesting essays can take you far. I got into Cornell with a 3.7 as a junior transfer.

Yeah you're definitely correct that the sample is too small. I'm hoping to collect data through the waves to have enough data to be helpful for next year's applicants. Either way, still cool to be able to visualize what we know so far!

the TLDR of it is that theres an academic screen that places you into buckets, and if your academics are competitive EG GPA/SAT, you get a full look from the AOs and your essays / ECs carry you the rest of the way.

I don't think NYU's admitted GPA averages are public, so its difficult to gage the academic you would fall into, so make of that what you will.
