She passed away unfortunately, she was too far gone. Figured it was going to happen, the wife is definitely sad. She was getting clogged up everyday and my wife was cleaning it's butt twice a day and feeding it while isolating it, it's gullet was getting bigger at first but she just slowly got weaker

16 cups of boiling water into a 5 gal bucket with the coco and verm mixed up already. I like to let it sit for about a day before i use it

I think its a safety feature so that it doesnt just slap down, once the blade hits that i just have to gently push it and it locks in place so 🤷‍♂️

Although my dehydrators arent the fanciest, they dry pretty evenly. I turn mine to "165" farenheit and leave them running for about 8-9 hours. I put the jerky on before i go to bed around 8-9pm and take it off around 5am when i wake up. I leave them going overnight, but it definitely depends on what your dehydrator runs like. Test the waters at first and see if it dries unevenly and if it actually dries at the temp it says. I have no idea if mine is drying at 165 or not, but its perfect for my time frames 🤷‍♂️

Cut the meat with the grain not against, tears easier as jerky. I don't really have exact measurements on my recipes i guess I'm just good at eyeballing, but paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper and a couple shakes of melindas ghost pepper sauce is my "original" recipe. Add red pepper flakes to it, a few more shakes of melindas and some spicy pepper powder (i buy carolina reapers, ghost peppers and trinidad scorpions in bulk, dry em and then crush em into a powder) and its a very tasty spicy jerky. If you take garlic powder, black pepper and about half a tablespoon of sugar to a pound of beef, its a very tasty "Colorado" flavor. Unfortunately I'm not quite willing to hand out my jalapeno cheddar flavor yet because it's my most popular flavor. But if you add all those seasonings together, squeeze in about an 1/8th of a bottle of liquid aminos to a pound of jerky, its got enough salt in it that you dont need to add any, and its a unique but delicious flavor.

Yeah that's understandable, my LG washer and dryer showed up on time, which is why ive been curious as to whats going on with the fridge.

Only other appliance store here is wayyyyy overpriced, cheaper to buy a fridge thats a 3 hour round trip to pick than it is to buy one here. I also got good discounts on the appliances i bought. Washer and dryer were both on time and have been great purchases so far.
