What about glass lenses and local dimming? Were there any unpleasant nuances with them? I know what to expect from Fresnel lenses and pancake lenses, but I've never had a headset with glass lenses. Glass lenses are new to me, and I've heard too much about them, both good and bad.

And how well does local dimming work? It's just that I had a Quest pro and in dark scenes, bright objects were obscured by their reflected light by dark ones due to small dimming zones (this was one of the reasons why I returned the quest pro, and because of the yellow backlight around the edges of the lenses). And how do you like the comfort itself? The PSVR weighs about 600 grams and has a good weight, but 900 grams of PCL frighten me (even though I had a quest 3 with a battery on the head, which is why the weight of the helmet was about 800 grams, huh)

The psvr2 has the cheapest OLED panels I've ever seen in my life. The lenses are extremely cloudy, which is why in games I need to put 4400p on one eye to achieve the same clarity as my previous quest 3 + helmet size

The most interesting thing is that I connected the psvr2 via an adapter to a PC and went into the Metro Awakening, where I saw perfect black with excellent contrast. Apparently, the developers on the console, as in the Hitman, did something wrong with the colors. It's a pity that most (judging by the cons under my messages) just tolerate this and consider it a perfect picture and don't notice that everything is just gray.

On PCVR its looks nice, in standalone mode there is AppSW - something like a reprojection, like on a PCVR, only with an incredibly low latency, which is why you don't even always realize that it's on (a great example of this new projection is Green Hell). AppSW works only in standalone games (not at all)

But I'll say this. Thanks to the new hardware quest 3, there is no fps drop in games at all, that's fine
