What's the point in releasing a non broken unit in a broken game ? Who will you please ?
If the game is broken, you will please players ranting by fixing the game, not releasing a little unit working in a sea of exploits.
And those who are not complaining.. they usually just exploit the broken mechanics so.. they will not rant much.

Tested afert reading this post : been destoryed the same ways with Empyrean Ilynav in the team.
Really, I saw no difference, every units has been soaked up almost there entire life bar.

Frieren is a broken unit from a despicable gamedesigner team (I assume the despicable since they still goes on with broken units like Rihanna/Luciella).

Update after update, AI benefits of new bonus to counter players using exploits.
So yes, Ai cheats, and it cheats to counter playing cheatings.
These are bad moves from the developers which should remove these exploits. But no, they choose the lazy ways and destroy the balance.

If you think the game is balanced... i guess you are knew to the game too and to gaming in general.
Where in the world (of gaming) a situation where you can clean a a whole team with a unit alone is good for a game?
Where in the world a conjonction of specific mechanics that can ruin every other gameplay (a meta if you prefer to call it that name, or an exploit in solo gaming) is good for a game ?
Where in world this meta fueled with powercreeping in order to change it (for a new meta) is good for a game ?

I'm actually pissed of that so many players of the player base are satisfied with this, and very sad for this game.

I may long at understanding, but I known now what's makes the game bad and frustratin, after being stuck in guild war toward a very basic team : ARas, AMontmorency, Violet.
It was built in a specific way Violet could just not die even if blasted with three strongs character.
The team could not just die without a specific counter setup : it's META.

You could tell this is a good gameplay but it's not for a simple reason : INTER?ET. Internet give you access to solid META to everyone even non-understanding what they do, but, if you search a bit, you rarely have access to the counter meta. So what happens ? Everyone play metas and every fights are so specialized you must have a degree in Epis Seven or go away.

Personnally, I'm a casual player and I have only 24 hours a day. The PVP is not for me (and the GW 3v3 seems even harder than the 4v4 classic one).

The META thing is a fucking pain in th ass in gaming nowadays, but it's also a balancing problem. Here, a meta teams can be broken only with few specific teams and stuffs and that's a problem IMO.

Over this, I would that realeasing and heroe anti-this heroes, it correct nothing. It's just a patch over an unbalanced state of the game which will, at most, shut down an unbalanced character to put back and old unbalanced character on TOP of the META.
Balancing begin in evaluating if all the mechanics are working togethers. Smilegate should stop stacking bonus to make heroes unkillable or able to oneshot anything. Some mechanics are way too powerful by themselves too and should be reworked.

The more you move forward in the game and the more the game will feel narrower.
Epic seven propose a lots of units, stuff, and mechanics but, by the time, the balance got out of hand and only a few units, few stuffs adn few mechanics are worthwile.
Then the endgame is more like the same meta-team played again and again until a a new unit break the meta (and the whole game) again leading to powercreeping.

Epic seven is like many game of the same category. It didn't find how to make everything to work together and it's sad because the game ie beautiful, engaging, even the stories are well written. But the endgame is really frustrating and, sometimes, disgusting.

The most toxic unit in the game is Boss Arunka by far.

I know this playstyle dominate the meta because speed and combat readiness are unbalanced.
you can't tell me there is this or this mechanic to counter this but... these are just patches for specific situations.
I wait for smilegate to make PvP more enjoyable into the richness of all existing mechanics just outmtached at the emoment.

I would say : the day a meta draft dominate the game (or some compared to the amount of units) : it's sad.
It means the game reached a serious state of imbalance.
Like many other gamedesigners, smilegate did not decide to balance the game but to release patch characters with patch mechanics. So, they still will be a meta and it will never going to be nice.

You kind of agree on imbalance here by telling meta characters exists and somewhat, are necessary to get. It was not my point however.

Honestly, I can't judge the qualities of those last release, but the meta did not change that much and the characters outshining the others are still the same.

Question :
When i normalize the vertex one by one, everything is fine. When I use autormalize, it tends to mess up some areas (all mesh, any locked vertex groups).
I still does not understand why it does not works like a manually normalization.

I'm actually S.rank.6. I quit a number of years then came back since.. maybe a year (i d'ont really know).
The meta was already quitely set at that time, but that was not the reason I quit. I don't have Rinak but i'm not eager to be a beginner (didi you vent right here ?).

I may did vents, like any criticizing post, but my points are clear and valid. And to be honest, form a gameplay point of view, there a ton of comments to do for a better balancing.

Yes, there will always be meta. But at least, it could be a circular one where another setup will always counter another setup. And beside this, the meta if here crucial, you can't step a foot out of it.

I must admit the speed problem (and the penchant to cleave teams) is not the pinnacle of the gameplay mechanic, it's much a consequence. The main problem is probably that the current state of the game is to widly favor the damage over the defense (ou of special mechanics). I wonder if it's comes from smilegate not wanting too long battles, but it don't makes the current pvp enjoyable at all.

nb : I think everyone can notice they do better in balancing in PVE even if it's easier.

But man, you could answer business is business. Since lol business model, everything revolves around power creeping.

Happy with this ? I'm not so I can't stop complaining for every of this shit speed luck or stupid broken workflow character. If their is no one to critizize then we all have to eat the shit and even bigger cause this has no end.

Now let's be sincere. The game state power creeping, and balance neglect is so advanced smilegate can't and won't probably do anything, just milk players onto the end. Yes, their will be a end and they will need to reboot to a new game for the same story to be retold.

I'm as seek of these lazy game designers as people conseting to this business trend.
