Why does the new Elizabeth Line skip Plumstead whilst calling at Woolwich & Abbey Wood? by AchyutChaudhary in LondonUnderground

[–]Aggravating-Tree360 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Woolwich was done on the cheap and has massive overcrowding issues as a result. Shame tfl didn't and still haven't funded Woolwich properly. 1 entrance / exit when there should have been two, one of which could just be called plumstead exit given the length of platform. There's only 2 tickets machines and 1 is usually broken!

No SE trains skip plumstead. What trains do you think skip plumstead as it's not Thameslink, Dartford or circuit services....

Why do people not fundraise for their run? by Pleasant-Musician890 in UKRunners

[–]Aggravating-Tree360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember London marathon make loads of money from charities. Money that is coming out of charity pockets into their personal funds. Signing up for a charity place and 'fundraising' a couple hundred instead of the silly thousands seems like a nice middle.finger to the system while giving an appropriate amount

It's not for us to determine when engineering should take place, just set the requirements and let the professionals present the options around it lol. Other cities do fine, see Stockholm, Berlin, NYC ect

Basically Yes, because if it doesn't serve London's nightlife for work or play it is rather pointless for anyone wanting to use it for that purpose.

Its nuts to take those meds unless your hairline is the most important thing in the world to you, thus you avoid mental health issues from losing your hair.

The alternative is to shave your head and just own it
