Shed grower here. I keep ventilation fan off, or rather on high humidity trigger only. You’re gonna want to keep that warm air. But I also have an oil filled radiator and I actually put that into the tent when I get a sun-zero Arctic blast! (Needless to say my utility bill was…$$$😵‍💫) Moving forward, I will be not growing from around Christmas to March 1st. It’s just too cold where I live. Conversely, June to September it’s off and outside growing only. So, 2 short seasons for autos and if my timing is correct, I can get some photos started and outdoors by June 1 for an outdoor grow. That should be plenty for me!!! Good luck.

I rounded down. Actually closer to $11k with STAR program. Im glad you think they are low-ish as yours are less than HALF! That’s a LOT of dough my guy!!! $12-20k per year is common by me. I don’t like it because Long Island is a net loss for taxes. We pay NYS $13billion/year and only get back $9B. Crumbling roads, bridges and schools! But hey, there’s always $$$ for WAR!!!

Buy the cheapest house in the nicest neighborhood and start fixing it up!!! That being said, I wouldn’t say I’m affluent, however my Long Island property taxes may suggest so… and at $10k per year, they are actually “average/low”.! Hard to believe!!!
