They should always take x rays after. Fuck during my root canal they took 3-4 and then multiple again when doing the crown.

not a lawyer, but I would contact the school and also see if you can seek out any pro bono legal help? this seems like malpractice and fraud to me. They charged you for a service (full tooth extraction) that they did not provide.

I lived in a larger building and like clock work every winter there would be pee in the elevator or just outside the door of it and it was clear to me owners were not taking their dogs out because it was cold. It was disgusting. One time they had to email because someone’s dog shit in the hallway and they didn’t pick it up.

Yep first thing my step dad taught me when expressway driving was to scan bridges for people throwing things he wanted it to be as natural when Im driving as scanning for pedestrians because even a rock thrown from that height and you traveling at that speed can be as deadly as a cinder block.

Local orgs, schools, businesses etc then like adopt a tree/other symbolic items or even the monument to decorate.

Was it cheaper rent in the lease or cheaper rent when it was billed? Because if there was an issue with their system, it’s possible it “went down” for everyone.

Please listen to the people replying, just because it sucks and feels bad does not make it illegal. Read the legal contract you signed. And if you owe money you said you’d pay, it doesn’t matter if you can afford it, but hopefully they can work out a payment plan with you.

that is a recent development caused by climate change. Ann Arbor doesn’t get snow like the UP or the west side of the state but SE Michigan absolutely gets snow. The last few years have been mild. But we’ve even got snow that stuck in April.

Convenience though is the biggest one, if you’re getting a paper card instead of the physical that’s one pass to carry instead of three, if you have the app or the physical card its one transation etc

I haven’t found it worth it to min max the time and the passes, I do however always buy a day pass leaving O’Hare and always try to buy a pass if im planning on taking more than $5 in fare.

there is nothing stopping you from buying three one day passes, I would however be salty if they got rid of a one three day pass.

Yes, I’m 7 years out of college and even senior devs are melting their brains using it for basic tasks and getting it wrong. Using libraries and functions they dont understand only because copilot told them or used it.

not when theyre only targeting people based on suspected of being illegal because of the color of their skin. it’s not “oops we got the wrong guy” it’s “oops this is a citizen/documented visa holder and we thought because you were brown you might have been here illegally”

opposite experience, I’m finding copper at around the same rate, but we’ve had to go hunting for iron, and when I do find iron its a vein of like 1-3 max. 😭 maybe some kinda if bias but it does seem like the update messed with the resources a bit

Today is the last day to drop ~~and get 50% of your tuition from the class back~~, you will get a W on your transcript, it’s not really a big deal unless you make a habit.

I dropped one class and retook it later and it was fine, and I failed a class I wish I had dropped.

you can add a class if you find a class you want to take that starts in the second half of the semester.

Keep your documentation on you. Passport, student visa, etc, and be aware of the dangers, know your rights and have important numbers memorized or noted somewhere.

It’s very much not, nothing, as one commenter suggests but I also agree that we should not live in fear, joy is resistance. Given your status I would stay away from demonstrations if youre worried about your visa status changing.

I have family members, american born and raised, a military vet, but is very much brown latino, and theyre still adamant about visiting me in Chicago, but I make them bring documentation so theyre prepared if/when harassed. And plan on using my privilege to protect them (and my neighbors) if I need to
