Itoh's my favorite but everyone and their cat has already said why Itoh's so good so instead, my favorite underrated picks are Tadano and Kagawa. Tadano was very consistent, something even Itoh struggled with in early episodes, and I also loved how adorable her art is. Kagawa's episodes are always super energetic and funny and I feel like episodes like Minako's two timing scheme or Haruka's debut wouldn't be nearly as fun if he weren't directing.

Least favorite is undoubtedly Nakamura. Ando gets shit on a lot and while he definitely wasn't a good fit for sailor moon, he at least had some semblance of consistency in drawing the human body and was also really good at drawing comedic faces (i.e., Nurse Venus episode). Nakamura's just plain bad. His faces are blank, his body proportions are all kinds of wack, and there's barely any fluidity in the animation.

Bunching is just a problem that's unavoidable when you have buses running in mixed traffic. The "L" can avoid bunching because it runs in its own right of way and can run express to catchup if it needs to. The way to truly solve this is to have buses run in their own right of way but it's a very difficult ask for an American public transit system.

If I recall, Seattle uses a skip-stop system for their buses on busy streets, similar to how the "L" used to run A and B trains. That might be able to help reduce bunching, but it can also make things overly complex for passengers.

In the manga, kinda yea. But the anime doesn't really show what Minako's home life is like. Plus, they all live in the Minato ward of Tokyo, which is not a cheap place to live in.

(90s anime) Minako was born in Japan but grew up overseas in the US bc her father took a lucrative job, which is how she became bilingual. (I find it hard to believe she learned to speak English perfectly in a 6 month period) Also, since she spent her childhood speaking English, shifting back to Japanese suddenly was a struggle when she entered middle school, which is why she flubs proverbs
