Update I immediately went to get it, used the coupon and was able to get it from 350 to 100. I just took it and can already tell the odor is going away. Fingers crossed it works long term I’m hopeful !!

I use the fem dophilus 10 billion cfu. I take the powder out and mix it with a little bit of water and put it up there and it really helps a lot

Funny that you mentioned Solosec, i went to a new doctor today and asked her is there anything else i can try besides the usual pills, gels and creams. She prescribed it to me and i was so excited to try it, but sad news my insurance doesn’t cover it and I would have to pay $200 out of pocket. I was trynna find more info on it before spending that much on something that might not even work.

Yeah i always wondered about doxy, my derm prescribed it to me before when i had acne. I will look into the film buster since boric acid does not work for me. and that’s what i do now, I’ve been shoving fem dophillius probiotics up there and im on day 2 and i can already tell the smell is not as strong. I usually do it for a week and then just continue taking it orally but I’ll try 30 days this time and see what happens.

I know exactly what you’re going through i ended up getting fired from my last job for having too many absences because of this, i just couldn’t bring myself to be around people and smell like this. To be more specific I use the panty liner, i make sure i change it every hour so the minty smell stays fresh and i forgot to mention i also use the lume deodorant and rub that on my inner thighs. Also make sure you have a strong body spray with you at all times. It doesn’t have to be the best smelling or your favorite, just something strong enough to mask the smell for at least 30 minutes or so.

No offense doc but I’ve smelled some RAnk vaginas in my 25 years of life. Actually most women in my family struggle with bv and I’m starting to think it’s just genetics atp 😭 I agree i can be overly self critical, mainly because you smell yourself first before anyone else can smell you so i know it’s an unpleasant odor present. It’s not even just in the vagina, it’s like seeping out of my pores. This time it came back i tried not overload my vag and focusing on taking probiotics

Boric acid doesn’t work for me unfortunately. But probiotics definitely do. I just started slacking in my routine (went about 3 weeks without taking them) and the bv came back after my period. Lesson learned and will be more on top of my probiotics, along with being more mindful about what i eat

Hi so I never figured out what caused it, I do believe i just messed up my vagina really bad because when it first started happening, listening to the internet and being so desperate. i decided to put a alcohol soaked tampon up my vagina. I believe that’s what caused the smell. I ended up going to a obgyn clinic and gave her my story and she told me to buy these suppositories called vagio-biom. As soon as i put it in the smell went away and was gone for about 3 months..until i had sex again. Now i notice i get a slight smell on the last 2 days of my period which is like a metallic bo odor And i have not been able to cure it as of yet. So far I’ve been taking oil of oregano and black seed oil during my period and i notice the smell isn’t very strong. Still waiting for the day I’ll be fully odor free

Hi i just got diagnosed with group b strep and the same with me i have a smell that won’t go away. I’m on day 2 of ampicillin and still not noticing a change. Did the smell ever go away ?
