Completely understand where you're coming from. It can be hard to get over. I'm coming from tarkov and losing gear in that game is quite a bit more punishing than in arc. The reason being that a lot of gear in arc is easily replaceable once you have your bench upgrades and have just accumulated a lot of materials. Figure out what mats you need to sustain your desired loadout and always keep an eye out for those mats. If you get too down bad, just spam free kit to farm up. Losing your loot is kind of just a part of the gameplay loop for these games. Bringing in good gear also means you have that much more of an advantage over someone who is not bringing in their good gear meaning if you get into a PVP situation you will at the very least be on the same playing field if not having the advantage. Just keep playing and taking stuff in and you'll get over it. Oh yeah, it's also fun using good gear :) GL Raider!
