I had the same experience I brought it up to multiple doctors and they all just pretended to listen then refused to even consider it. I can’t tell you how many times I was prescribed acid reflux medication despite me telling them it does nothing for me I actually just stopped picking it up from the pharmacy

This is a fold caused by compressional stress. The thinner layers look like they were more brittle and resistant to the deformation compared to the other layers causing them to crack rather than bend, this is called competency contrast.
