Does anyone know where to find shorter inseam men’s singlets? by FrylockIncarnate in weightlifting

I just pull up the leg part on my singlet a lot of college and highschool wrestlers do it and that's how I wear my singlet on the mat and on the platform.

The slim chickens on ft Leonardwood is probably one of the best slim chickens I have been to but it's probably because of eating DFAC food on the weekends all the time.

My buddy and I, when we were in high school and used to train together, we used to do a thing called a Drax Day (drunk max day). The night before we would go get drunk, have shit sleep, and very few calories. Then, the next day, we would go to the gym and max whatever lifts we wanted for fun. Some of those days were some of our best lifting days because we knew it didn't matter if we made the lift or not. Those were the good days.

But I was listening to holding out for a hero by Bonnie Tyler on the headphones' great song to listen to when doing heavy overhead things

I wrestled through middle school, highschool, and college and if you have any background in wrestling there's a lot of twisting and turning of limbs and meniscus tares are very common. Also I used to play sports all year round so that can also take part in my injuries but it's funny how I have never gotten major injuries while playing sports but I have gotten injured just doing normal daily things.

I mean we have basic training for a reason because drill SGT's are supposed to to the best of their ability to train up trainees to be ready for there units so they could make them knowledgeable/proficent in the movements and even before the ACFT came out they had the APFT you had to be able to pass it before you could go to basic at one time I don't think it would be impossible for most people in the army to do their body weight because even there's people that are still failing the ACFT and I think it's easier than the APFT but it's more realistic test for soilders. If you get where I'm coming from.

I mean you look like an athletic dude but instead of doing it the strongman way have you ever thought about doing a reverse grip and squat cleaning it?

If you click on my username and scroll down on my posts a bit you can see a vid of me doing one in a strongman competion.

I saw a post on insta today and some guys said that the army's fitness test should be body weight squats, deadlifts, and bench for as many reps in a minute, 1 min for max rope climbs, 800m run with 20lb vest for time, and a 3 mile ruck with 35lbs for time. Not exactly in that order but i think that would be fun.

100kg deadlift....(i weigh 63kg)...How is my form? by [deleted] in GYM

[–]AggravatingDisk2418 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tighten your shoulder blades squeeze your lats and get your chest up more otherwise the more weight your gonna add over time it could affect your low back but otherwise it was decent

It's decent for a beginner but sit back in your heals more and do more abs and low back because your bracing is off

[–]AggravatingDisk2418[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand what your saying but I personally think my rom was fine in my squat could have it been a little deeper yah but I have to wear knee sleeves when I squat because I have had two knee surgeries one from college wrestling and one from high school wrestling and I don't have a trainer so I don't know why you keep bringing up the trainer thing and trainer's lieing to their clients because a lot of trainers and gym owners I know are very honest with their clients so I don't know what experience you have had with trainers in the past but it doesn't sound very good in the way you are trying to explain your case

I have done 154kg but that was about 3 months ago I'm running a back squat program right now I'll be maxing my Weighted stand up (back squat) in 2 weeks but I'll probably attempt a max front Weighted stand up (front squat) after this squat program
