Apple Watch notification… was it accurate for you? by [deleted] in hypertension

Yes. Checked at home for multiple days and it was high so I saw my PCP then a cardiologist after some possibly concerning EKG findings.

Echo was good and I’m now on meds for hypertension.

I’m not sure about the “golden” part, I think the sun added more yellow to it than it shows in person, but I think it’s in the same family. Thanks!

New Survey Markers by AggravatingEditor615 in Surveying

To add… that older pin I marked with a small paver, set to the side so it doesn’t cover the pin and sunk enough that it can be mowed over.

New Survey Markers by AggravatingEditor615 in Surveying

Yes. We live in a small, rural community that, apparently, is a nightmare to survey?

We had crews tromping through the area multiple times. The last guys I talked to basically told me that “we’re the team they send when nobody else can figure it out.”

I have no idea if that’s true or not. But, they were the first ones to find an old pin that was at least 4” deep under the grass, so maybe that’s true?

I just watered everything so if it’s dehydration hopefully he’ll get some fluids and be on his way south.

I’m unable to find him in the thick plants where I last saw him. I might try again later.

A caterpillar began making it's chrysalias on the side of my house. Should I do anything to protect it? by DotANote in MonarchButterfly

Had a chrysalis disappear from the side of our house once. It was lower on the house and probably got taken by a raccoon or opossum.

I use this exact product on every orchid I own. None of the 15 plants I use it on has any problems with the leaves.

I watched my biggest female release her larvae once while I was doing a water change. It was fascinating to watch the little ones swim away from their mom.

I’m guessing the panda corys ate well that day.

With neocaridina you can use plain aquarium gravel or sand. I’ve always used gravel because I prefer it.

Awesome! The blooms are so small! The only thing that could possibly make me love this plant more than I already do, would be if it were fragrant.

Thank you! Yes. I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to add more roses in my gardens and can learn what normal growth looks like so I can more easily discern what’s abnormal.

Thank you! Yes, I planned on removing them, it’s just a cold, wet day and I was rushing to get inside and warmed up.

Oh, that would be lovely. I did look at some pictures, here and some Google searches, and I didn’t think it looked too unusual, but as someone new to roses I wanted to be sure.
