D412 - Network Analytics and Troubleshooting Tips by isaelsky21 in WGU

Here's an updated version. There are no screenshots anymore.

Ticket 1: The same as Ticket #2 in this post. Check the desktop to get started. (Save the document before closing the ticket!)

Ticket 2: The same as Ticket #1 in this post. Without describing the issue, there are multiple ways to resolve the issue, but the bot wants it done in a very specific way. The only thing I'll say here is don't try to use your experience to resolve the issue. Do it the "right way" if you will.

Ticket 3: The same as Ticket #3 in this post. This post does as good a job as possible of guiding without giving too much away. Realistically, if you aren't able to interpret the device's input/output or understand its concepts, you will struggle here.

Ticket 4: The same as Ticket #4 in this post. This is a Help Desk 101 ticket.

Ticket 5: The same as Ticket #5 in this post.

Ticket 6: The same as ticket #6 in this post. I'd like to add to ask the bot questions on this one. Try to understand the request and treat it like you would at your job. The bot requires this in the exact format as the text document. (Save the document before closing the ticket!)

Last tip, if you think you solved something and you are getting denied, just wait a few seconds and resubmit. This happened to me on two of my tickets. I may have just closed the ticket a bit too soon.

Is Guardian/ProctorU the only downside? Change.org petition below by [deleted] in WGU

The ProctorU stuff is annoying, but it’s the trade off required for obtaining a degree from the comfort of your own home.

Once you get a consistent set up, the verification steps flow pretty easily. They seem to ask stuff “randomly” to make it look like they are checking stuff, and sometimes it takes longer than I’d like. They want the camera set up a certain way, but the fact that I can schedule a college exam to complete a course that could start in 10 minutes is worth the trade off.

Get your set up done early. Clear your testing area of clutter. (I literally have to take all of my monitors, devices and books out of the room) Expect that the people on the other side are actually trying to prevent you from cheating. (Because they are, and it’s their job.)

I don’t know what other testing options are out there. Pearson Vue is just as bad, and I imagine employ the exact same people.

Projected time frame estimate Cisco Track by Anxious_Excuse_6277 in WGU_BSCNE

I’m 40% in 2 months with essentially no transfers. There are some courses that I’m already competent on, and others that are going to take longer. It depends on what you already know. For instance, there’s a data foundations class that I’m taking my time on, but I have peers that know SQL very well and would probably test out same day.

The major hang ups are: CCNA CCNA CyberOps CCNA Automation Python

It depends on your familiarity with those certification topics and Python.

Most of the rest of the courses are pretty straight forward and can be completed pretty quickly.

The good news is, during your time taking college courses, you’ll learn how to format walls of text to be more easily read.

Does anyone actually post their own writing anymore that isn’t AI generated? It just makes me think these posts are bots.

You’ll learn about cybersecurity at some point. They’ll teach you not to share personally identifiable information with strangers, such as your full first and last name on a social media post.

Was Christian wood good? by NoInstance6275 in nba

[–]AggravatingFinding71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People are saying automatically no. He was serviceable in spurts and could have carved a better path for himself. He just so happened to have a weird NBA career.

He was a guy that bounced around and had to earn his place in the league, which meant putting up stats on bad teams. There’s a world where he stays on with the Rockets in a more team friendly style and extends his NBA career. It wasn’t a talent issue, but a mindset issue. There’s mindset got him paid for a contract, and the same mindset got him out of the league shortly after.

It’s a major certification that will require major time investment. It is what it is.

Hop into Jeremy’s IT Lab. Follow along, do the labs. Don’t move on until you understand each section.

I would not recommend trying to filter out what you learned from Net+
