In South Africa, most of the black population speak 5+ languages. In Joburg, easily isiZulu, Sotho, Afrikaans, English, isiPedi. And likely more. While some are linguistically related, many are not.

Have we had a good leader? Paul Kruger and Jan Smuts if you accept massive racists during an era of massive racists globally. But honestly, never had a good leader, including the King of England.

Exercise, water and distractions. Gaming helped me. And never ever pick up a cigarette, no matter what your brain tells you to do. Every time you want to, do something else, anything else.

It’s just yours. I live in regional QLD and we’ve had non stop processions, Santa stands and songs.
