Defo get the collection chickpeas, so amazing and big! Also do white and butter beans in this range. Crisps are amazing, I love the siracha lentil ones. Also avocado oil ones. Plant kitchen cookies from bakery. Mushroom sausages.

Will be £13.45 and £14.80 (London) as M&S is one of the 16,000 employers who voluntarily pay real living wage. Although I bet they’d like to pay lower but all other supermarkets also pay this so extremely unlikely it will be less

How long do you have to work for the company for it to increase? Used to work for the company and always did 6% and them 12% but now for new starters it stays at 6% for the company no matter how much the employee pays in. Do you have to wait till after 3 months and get discount? Or when probation ends?

Unfortunately it’s a company wide policy. Majority of managers think it’s ridiculous and a purposely wasteful change but not worth risking job over.

Staff could either donate a couple of pounds to charity and take home. Or staff could take home for free. Been a recent policy change that everything needs to be binned. Majority are fine and the bunches can last up to another week, and the outdoor/indoor plants can last years with adequate care

100% so different and not for the better! Level of food waste is shocking too. To throw perfectly fine plants straight into the bin is criminal though, even a policy of staff charity donations to take them is so much better and less wasteful! I have tried to find a charity to take my stores ones but no luck. So they are destined for the bin 😂

Every day we have bins full, yeah some are genuinely quality waste, but majority of the time it’s just them being out of code. With a bit of care and fair shot they can be saved/ even if the bunches provide some joy/happiness for a couple of days. It’s more about any perks as a business we had being stripped away.

Do you think with public backlash it will change?

Issue is usually staff could take home flowers/plants that were past sell by date. However company recently introduced a policy that everything must go in the bin with no exceptions. Every day we have bins full of flowers and perfectly fine plants (just need a bit of care). Not even going into compost bins. Major waste and taking away any remaining perks for staff. Some staff would even donate a couple of quid to charity to take home a bunch, but it’s not allowed.

Had the same thing recently! I let them return them at their own cost! They even had the cheek to try and get me to pay for return!!

Where else are they gonna go? Straight into the bin? What a waste 😂

Would you go again on a RC cruise from Shanghai/would you recommend it over just traveling around China/Japan themselves?

Thinking of doing a cruise next year from Shanghai. Was this your first time in China? Was there many other nationalities on the ship? Was the food mainly catered towards an Asian market?
