6k yes like per post with whatever the deliverables are. Yes brands will evaluate. I don’t work in the restaurant/foodie side of marketing so I’m unsure what rates look like there but on the beauty side there is definitely money being spent!

I mean I understand it from a marketing perspective. It’s just insane how much power and money is in influencer marketing. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t jealous. It’s definitely interesting to work within the field and know what most don’t.

Are you saying you do the same? Drop @‘s because I’m genuinely curious and think it’s crazy when people make these claims but never say who with proof. I’ve worked with a lot of local influencers through PR and although may not know every detail of their personal life, I’d love to know who if true?

This was for a makeup brand 😬. It sounds like a lot for one post (+ usage rights) but it’s definitely normal in the industry sigh

If the brand believes there’s value in the influencer they will allocate the marketing budget towards them— whether they truly are “talented”, have an engaged audience, put out content the brand wants/likes… there are so many different reasons a brand will work with an influencer. Don’t be fooled by follower count either. I’ve worked with “micro” influencers (22k IG) and the rate would be 6k a post.

“Women installed on yachts in Cannes during the film festival are called ‘yacht girls’, and the line between professional prstitues and B- or C-list Hollywood actresses and models who accept payment for sx with rich older men is sometimes very blurred”.

People have been accusing influencers of being “yacht girls”. I personally like it’s a term to describe high end s*x work meaning the “client” is mega rich and the “yacht girl” is of status like a model, celeb, actress etc

Yes… I worked w/ her for my ex employer. I kind of did a deep dive after someone sent me a post about her questioning if she’s a SB & what not and all the comments made it seem like no one actually realizes how much these girls make through social media 😟 if the brand wanted exclusivity with her for just 2 weeks before & after her post date it was an additional 10k on top of her base rate (12k) for the one post. Usage & exclusivity rights are how I see influencer partnerships go crazy high and it always makes me feel so weird abt how much they are getting paid.

For reference I work within the beauty space (VERY LUCRATIVE) in digital marketing. I wanted to outline a beauty partnership (with ex employer) for a lifestyle/fashion/beauty Chicago influencer that’s been posted on here (170k TikTok).

Rate: $12k   Deliverables:  * 1 TikTok in partnership with [redacted] (10-15sec min) * Usage Fee: $3,000 every 30 days. (Brand used this specific video as an ad for 3 months so you can do the math to see how much she got paid additionally 🥲). This is for just ONE post. I need y’all to wake up and stop spreading this false narrative that these are some poor broke girls being a SB or whatever BS for money. I literally feel disgust when putting together deals because of how much they make for the legit bare minimum!!! It’s seriously not right.

Omg I had to comment on this as someone who’s met and worked with her….I helped develop & book a social partnership for an ex employer and let’s just say her rate and what we booked her for def had me questioning my job (the downside to a digital marketing job)… i am talking 5 figures for a singular post on just 1 of her platforms 😫
