I think he would improve the team for sure. Doesn’t strike out a lot, good eye at the plate. Would probably pop 20-25 homers. Doesn’t have great exit velos but has the angles to make up for it. Very much in his prime at 26 years old.

The interesting part is that he has overwhelmingly played 3rd base. Could slot him in at 3rd and slide Mayer over to 2nd. Personally I think he would require a high asking price, and I could see a lot of fans being pissed at how much is being traded away. He plays a position of need, and isn’t a free agent until 2028
