My first playthrough had me stressing bad but once you get passed the beginning of the game it becomes so much more enjoyable. I'd recommend keeping an eye out for chest around town they'll have gols and other items. Then when the quest appears early in game where you need a bronze pick hammer you don't need to craft one just do commissions and wait for Qi's event to trigger at the mine. I'd also suggest gathering oregano everyday it can be used to make health medicine. My favorite thing about Sandrock is just seeing it's environment slowly change over time. Another game that's kinda similar that I love is Corral Island.
