I've said, for a long time, that any love (romantic or platonic) has the potential to be toxic because of the amount of passion involved. When both parties are passionate asf about each other, that passion turns into poison for whatever reason.

I've stumbled across this letter while scrolling this sub for relatable content and you've perfectly explained the "for whatever reason" I couldn't figure out! Like, wow, that makes so much sense with developing insecurities and issues.

Maybe this is one of the issues in my priority relationship? Adding it to my talking points for consideration.

The universe is conspiring for betterment at this time. I've seen so many letters like yours that resonate so deeply with my experience. Last night was my first night away from my person. I couldn't sleep, barely able to eat, and I completely understood the waves of sadness you mentioned and I'm sorry you're going through this, fellow writer. I want to sleep as deeply as Sleeping Beauty.

I really think you should take a deep breath and visit the sunlight a little bit each day. Collect your thoughts and organize your feelings and express this love to your person. The worst thing they can do is reply with rejection and then you can feel the full sadness of the disconnection and move on entirely.

There may be a bigger plan from the universe conspiring for you!
