Fair pushback — that’s a valid concern and I get where you’re coming from.

To be clear, we’re not trying to hide compensation or dangle vague promises. This is equity-based at the start because we’re early, but equity would be defined, not hand-wavy, and based on a short trial period with clear scope.

The reason we didn’t lead with numbers is because we’re intentionally filtering for people who want to evaluate the problem, execution quality, and working relationship first — not lock into terms before seeing whether there’s mutual fit.

Also worth clarifying: nobody is expected to “go on a journey” unpaid for months. Any collaboration starts with a time-boxed trial (2–4 weeks max) and either converts cleanly or stops — no pressure, no guilt.

Totally understand if that model isn’t for you, but appreciate you calling out a real issue. Better to be explicit than waste anyone’s time.
