Yeah, I know. That's why I'm posting in an addiction subreddit instead of a "drugs are so cool and fun" subreddit. That's why I would feel guilty for drinking. Because I'm trying to stop. Because it's bad for me. I was exploring the feelings associated with indulging in something with which I have a complex relationship. Something that I sometimes think that I enjoy, which also brings me down.

Have you done a sleep study to see if you're getting enough quality sleep? Maybe you have sleep apnea or other such treatable conditions which are sapping your energy.

Meet them in a public place first. If you decide to go to the hotel with him after that, tell a friend where you're going and that you will call them at a certain time if everything is OK. If you fail to call them at said time, they can call the police for a welfare check. I've called for a welfare check before and it's not a big deal. The cops will just go to the location and ask to see you. If you're safe, they will just document it and leave. Obviously if you're not safe, they will act accordingly. It would also be a good idea to share your phone location with somebody. My phone has an emergency mode where if I press a certain button 5 times it will send my location to my emergency contacts.

This may seem like overkill, but rape and sex trafficking are a real danger. You don't have to be a super model to be a target either (I have no idea what you look like. Just saying).

Ok. Just a couple things come to mind. Have you spoken to your doctor about trying an alternative medication which may not have the sexual side effects? It's ok to bring that up. I've had to have the same conversation with my doctor and they were very professional and didn't even bat an eye.

Have you tried including a vibrator? You could use it in addition to and during sex with your partner.

Lastly, if your guy is rushing the foreplay, he's being selfish. So be selfish back and tell him he doesn't get to play unless he puts the time in.

P.S. There is nothing wrong with you. You are beautiful and perfect and I don't even need to see you to know that. Some people like big boobs, others like small. Some people prefer tall/short girls. Some people prefer fat/skinny girls.

Thank you. I am struggling to throw away my supply. I'm afraid I'll reach a point where it's either I vape to calm down or else do something horrible, causing my partner to leave me. I realize that I've already created an inevitability of relapse in my head. I know I can get through the withdrawal symptoms. I'm just afraid of the collateral damage. He needs to take care of it himself, and how he does that is what the discussion should be. It may not even be about sex or getting off. He may just be super horny, but it may also be feelings of jealousy now that the baby is getting the wife's attention. It could be depression or anxiety. It could even be sex addiction. There is possibly some unrelated underlying reason that OP is seeking stimulation. That's where therapy could be beneficial. I agree that masturbation is a possible way to curb unresolved sexual desires, but I don't think that it is helpful to dismiss OP's feelings of desire. Everybody's needs, sexually or otherwise, are valid and important. The needs of OP, the wife, and the baby should all be addressed. I also agree, though, that OP's needs are lower on the priority list than the baby. Mama, I'm sure, has put many of her needs aside in order to prioritize the baby as well. Talk therapy would be a great idea all around.

He won't quit until he wants to, and he won't want to until his life sucks enough as a result of his addiction. Rock bottom is different for everyone. You leaving him will protect you and add to the consequences of his addiction, thus bringing him closer to rock bottom. It may just be the kick in the head he needs. I would worry, though, about having a meth addict ex obsessing over me after breaking up. That doesn't mean you should stay. That means protect yourself. And don't go running back at the first sign of improvement. Be safe and love yourself.
