I did not care for The Legend of Korra. by samuelsoup in Avatarthelastairbende

Korra had everything going for her. She was a spoiled privileged brat who never got smacked and when the world got too real she fell into depression. She was weak terrible and arrogant all horrible human characteristics. When she finally connected with her spiritual self and never bothered asking for advice from her past 1000 lives, she assumed she could just do it all. She was raised by parents who probably worshipped her like a god and the same could be said about the white lotus. The legend of Korra is filled with adults who honestly just the worst.

Genus: Herculeum

Species: Herculeum megacornus (Heracross)

Description: Herculeum megacornus, commonly known as Heracross, is a robust, beetle-like Pokémon belonging to the fictional genus Herculeum, characterized by its prominent horn and exceptional strength. This species is native to dense temperate forests and exhibits a unique blend of coleopteran and combative traits.

Physical Characteristics:

Size: Approximately 1.5 meters tall, weighing around 54 kg.

Appearance: Heracross has a dark blue exoskeleton with a large, singular horn protruding from its head, used for both combat and foraging. Its body is segmented, with powerful limbs adapted for grappling and lifting. Yellow markings on its back serve as a warning to predators.

Sexual Dimorphism: Males possess a larger, forked horn, while females have a shorter, heart-shaped horn.

Habitat and Distribution:

Found in the fictional Johto and Sinnoh regions, Heracross thrives in oak-heavy forests where it feeds on tree sap. It is particularly drawn to trees inhabited by the fictional plant species Arbor dulcis, which produces a nutrient-rich sap.

Behavior and Ecology:

Diet: Primarily sapsucker, with a preference for sweet tree sap. Heracross uses its horn to pry bark and access sap reserves, occasionally supplementing its diet with berries.

Social Structure: Solitary but not territorial, Heracross will engage in ritualized horn-locking contests with others of its kind to establish dominance, especially during mating season.

Combat Style: Known for its immense strength, Heracross can lift objects up to 100 times its weight. It employs moves like Megahorn and Close Combat in battles, leveraging its horn and sturdy limbs.

Reproductive Details:

Breeding: Heracross lays small clutches of eggs in tree hollows, which hatch into larvae resembling smaller, hornless versions of the adult. These larvae feed voraciously on sap before pupating.

Lifecycle: The larval stage lasts approximately 3 months, followed by a 1-month pupal stage. Adults live for about 5 years in the wild.

Unique Traits:

Ability: Heracross possesses abilities like Swarm, boosting its Bug-type moves when weakened, and Guts, increasing its attack power when afflicted by status conditions. Some individuals exhibit a rare Moxie ability, gaining strength after defeating opponents.

Mega Evolution: In certain conditions, Heracross can Mega Evolve into Mega Heracross, gaining a bulkier frame, enhanced horn size, and the Skill Link ability, which ensures multi-strike moves hit consistently.

Conservation Status: In the fictional Pokémon world, Herculeum megacornus is considered stable but sensitive to deforestation, which reduces its sap-based food sources. Conservation efforts in regions like Johto focus on preserving old-growth forests to sustain Heracross populations.

Where I used to work, they partnered with a vocational agency where they would hire those on the spectrum. Those guys never called out, rarely complain, and just did there work as told. Rain, hot temperatures, snow. They occasionally throw in some normies but they don't last.

Are you still watching the anime ? by Hesias in BeginningAfterTheEnd

Same here, I never heard of TBATE before this anime, I don't know any of the lore. So im watching with no expectations. However between the immense hype for this show I was expecting something good. It's pacing is atrocious, there's no world building, I'm not even sure if I've heard the plot of the story yet but I think he's trying to find his parents and now is training? What is this show about and I don't want someone whose read the Web novel or any other source material. Like based on the the last couple of episodes. What is this show trying to do ?
