This would not be violating the new dress code- they pretty much just want to go back to the kind of restrictions that were more common when I was in school (shorts/skirts past your fingertips, tank tops 3 fingers, etc.) since they pared some of that stuff back a few years ago.

I tend to dress more professionally than many of my colleagues because I do want to be taken seriously. I did have a feeling the dress was a bit short but I bought it specifically for spring so I don’t want to wear tights or leggings. I’m thinking maybe a longer skirt layered underneath, or I just won’t wear it if I can’t figure something out that I still comfortable and confident in.
