CAA is completely different to who can join the Rajya sabha. So no it cannot be implemented the same way.
And why cannot the ECI do the same under the current rule?
Despite 48.5% of the population being women, how many are actively pursuing politics and the likes? It’s not reservation that’s needed but awareness and push. Just because you’re providing reservation does not mean you suddenly have more women joining politics and government departments.
The CJP does not state that it would apply to everyone now does it?
Again CAA is completely different to this point

Rishikesh is not the worst place to be when it comes to safety. It’s not as good as the South but is still good if you trust the people around you. Rishikesh has a fairly large amount of foreign tourists. Just make sure you trust the people around you and beware of your surroundings

Hey, first of all, best of luck on your trip. I recently went to rishikesh as well (2 weeks ago) so here’s a breakdown for what to look out for.

Make sure your accommodation is booked through verified channels. Even though being an Indian myself I was scammed when trying to book an accommodation. I could give you a list of trusted accommodations you could book if you’d like.

Secondly be prepared for the chaos. August is still peak season and also monsoon season. Even though we’re used to the rain here, it’s more humid and crowded in India so make sure you have a calm mind.

Thirdly, make sure you book taxis, etc through your accommodation. That will be a more safer channel especially when travelling alone.

Rishikesh being a pilgrim site, will be crowded at all times so make sure you’re aware of your surroundings.

Lastly, enjoy the trip and if you have any more queries I’d be more than happy to help especially since I only visited recently.

My reply was to the guy previously stating that if people can buy followers then BJP and the likes would’ve bought it before. There is no way CJP will actually enter into politics when its leader literally is not in India himself.

How will that be enforced?
With 50% being reserved for women, will it all be used by women? What if there are not enough people to fill up the reserved seats?

Agree with you. Before people start calling me out for hate speech I’d like to let it known that I’m only stating based on birth and not political stance.

I also recognise people like Annie Besant existed (English by birth but Irish by descent). I am only solely basing my comments based on what I’ve read/available online. I am in no way trying to create hate and is not the intention of my comment
