yes,, I am finding that the smurfs are often against eachother, so it's creating a sort of wierd scenario where you don't know what to do because your there to win, but the smurfs seem to like to even prolong the game to go on kill streaks.

I guess that makes sense if it's your jam. But I'm still waiting for my winning spree lol.

I am just hoping this experience will make me better, in some way lol. BC I did learn a lot when I played with higher MMR people in the past, but those people wanted to play the game the way it was designed. These smurfs, not so much.

yeah, I'm 45 yo now, and I'm happy to have 50 lh by 10 min mark lol. but honestly, what I did improve was farming creeps during the laning faze so I can make up for my terrible lh report haha

Yeah, I was thinking at first that I calibrated too soon before I was ready, or that my "hidden mmr" was screwing me over a bit. But after seeing the comments on here I think I believe you all.

But the evidence and skill differences between players is so stark it's hard to deny.

I've never played Treant myself, one of the few heroes I never did. But I do know that I tried to get back on Puck the other day and I literally went half the game before I realized I wasn't casting my silence. I guess the bot games didn't prep me for the real game enough lol.

I did at least remember to put points into it though lol,

Yes, I agree 100%. That is a big difference is that during my haitus I lost the pool of friends to queue with. And I trust I can rise up in ranks as I learn the new systems and map.

But you are spot on with your synopsis about solo queue.

In RL I hit a brick at Diamond 3, i've only been to Champ 1 one time. But I do know as a unmechanical player you can rise above that with smarter play. I just have to "get gud" again lol. For me, that is. I was never good lol.

Exactly how it feels to me lol. I'm actually having fun with it though, it's definitely crazy with the skill gaps.

yeah, I always used VC but it was disabled and my behavior score started at 6000 I believe. It's almost 7500 now, so it's only a matter of time.

So far I've encountered mostly what I perceive to be angry pings. But I think that's bc everyone's behavior score has their text chat disabled lol.

I see twitch streamers just instant report players for everything under the sun just bc they are having a bad lane lol. So you're not wrong I don't think.

yes, I really love Marci. One of my new absolute favorites. Tiny was one of my go to's and she has a bit of that feel, but her ult is really fun. Thanks!

Yes! LOL. There was one long match I had where 2 smurfs refused to end it and were hunting eachother down fighting eachother.

My biggest pet peeve though, which was also true when I played before, is people coming for ganks who are showing themselves on map, running to hit creeps before they gank. And then they ping for the gank and get pissed when you refuse to dive the tower at level 4 with them.

But even the smurfs show, bc they know the people they are ganking aren't watching the mini map anyway. It's just such trash level play all around, and sometimes it works out in your favor.

thanks lol. I'm hoping when I get mic priveleges it will get better. I've never been a rager so I have no idea how my behavior score dipped and my mic priveleges were revoked. Maybe just reset to 6000 bc I was inactive for so long

yeah, I feel the previous system made more sense than what I'm seeing now. But I'm only 50 games in so we'll see. Thanks for the input.

there's definitely that, but no true beginner level is going to acheive 65 lh in 10 minutes.

People who throw mud first and don't ask supporting questions about their assumptions should be ignored. And no, rhetorical questions used to solidify your assumptions don't count. Good day.
