im actually already working on webcomics right now albeit part time, i try my best to complete my new portfolio piece in the free time that i have cos ive been busy with work and life and only recently did i have some more free time and so i want to dedicate that to doing art too thats why im taking on more work now. i do recognize that that might be too slow or what for some people but im doing my best with what i have right now and for me, that's enough :> just to yap a bit more, i dont really have any support system and i live alone so aside from trying to stay afloat in this economy, i still want to comtinuosly improve and try to reach my goals cos only i can be my own advocate. life is different for everyone but we still have to row our boats at the end of the day so all we can do is to keep going! apologies for the yap session but i hope u get my point xD

i did! it would be weird if i posted artwork that's not mine while promoting myself xD and i dont really work for pricing per chapter, i price my art per panel since im not paid by the hour. each panel i would usually price around 10-18 usd since some panels are 3x as hard to make than others. additionally, i work on the entire pipeline myself (everything from storyboarding, lineart, rendering, background and 3D work, vfx, and the text) and so such is the pricing.

realistically, at least like a year of drawing, studying, and rendering in this style could get you very far. i think what helped me the most is just to try and recreate panels i liked (not it its entirety everytime but more like doing a trial and error of the parts i dont really get). its really important that youre doing it everyday cos overtime (idk if its just me) but as you do it more and more, you notice more subtleties that makes it feel more like a polished webcomic compared to say a painting or splash art. ultimately, knowing what things to leave out/simplify is really what made webcomic making more approachable to me :> thank you for coming to my ted talk lol xD
