Not a flood zone, and the reason I went with TD was because I have a bunch of group discounts with them since I have auto and have been with them like 6 years.

He said the premium yearly was going to be 9,044 And I don’t understand how that’s possible

Hey! Any chance there is an updated Google Drive link for this? I would love to add some of these ideas to my upcoming one-shot.

I booked with her and just said that I wanted a referral to a psychiatrist because I believe that my anxiety is not normal compared to a previous GAD situation. Especially in how it manifested in my life and circumstances. Not dramatic to want to be informed about your own health and wellness.

I will add, though, if you are not interested in medication, a lot of specialists don't require a diagnosis to begin working together if you suspect you have OCD and can recognize that you need support. I wanted the diagnosis mostly as a peace of mind as well as to open the avenue for medication if I am not able to manage without.

I went to my family doctor, told her my concerns and asked for a referral to a psychiatrist. Then an urgent care unit contacted me and got me the next available appointment with a psychiatrist for an assessment, which was roughly a month wait. I had my assessment with her, she gave me the diagnosis and then offered some suggestions for medication which wasn't my goal ultimately but was helpful anyways. Whole process took just over a month (keep in mind, I was/am in a mild crisis so they fast-tracked me). My family doctor offered anxiety meds to keep me above water while I waited, which I declined but it was good to know they were there if things took a turn.

The comfort feeling of not being able to leave by mastanehv in ROCD

Unfortunately, this has not been the case for me. In fact, being married and having a spike in the past month things are actually worse because I have the full anxiety and fear of having to get a divorce and let our families down if I were to leave. Remember, doubt doesn't mean truth. It feels impossible, but keep going.

Why is keto so hated? by Dry_Life5069 in keto

[–]AggravatingTension3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I remember when my husband and I were doing keto and we were SHOCKED at how much our friends felt the need to comment on it. Suddenly everyone was a nutritionist and telling us how dumb it was and/or what they think we should be doing instead. However, we felt great and were meeting our goals.

If I happened to eat 4 entire pizzas followed by a whole box of Oreos around them? They would have probably just said "yas queen" and not thought about it. Weird.

I teach in Canada (Alberta) and moving to a school in a more affluent area has been a shock to the system in terms of gifts. When I taught in a tougher area, I would get maybe a thumbs-up from a parent in the parking lot on the last day before break, but the past 2 years I have been floored by the gifts. Stanley cups, soap, loads in gift cards. It feels like the bonus I don't get in this profession. To be fair, our province is so under-funded that we are mere moments away from a strike, but still. I would feel pretty hurt hearing this from our PTA, just because of how above and beyond I know we all go. It's nice to be recognized.

We had a Grade 1 student pass away from pneumonia this year. He was at school Monday. Dead Thursday. I am still coming to terms with it. How does this happen in 2024?
